I stop by just to get the Bonu experience because I heard great thing about it. I was able to get seated right away. My waiter was very attentive and recommended me great options for what I was looking for. The drinks were made to perfection with the right amount of alcohol to have you feel nice. My food came out quicker than I expected. The calamari was fried with a nice golden crisp. The fettuccine was creamy and I add chicken with it. The chicken was a little over cooked and didn’t have the moisture I was looking for but overall it was delicious. If you’re in the DTSP area this a great spot to bring a dinner date or love good Italian cuisine, please stop by. My overall experience was pleasant and looking forward to coming back in the future.

Bony” is the worst Italian restaurant. Biggest disappointment. I am a big fan of Italian food and service. This happened for the first time. There was an order for a company of 8 people. When we took our seats, the waiter asked a young mother with a stroller to change seats, and she was offered to sit where she felt uncomfortable. There were many empty tables around. At the same time, they did not hesitate to take an additional payment from a large table. Of the 8 people, there were three children. Such a company was charged for $50 extra. We were not warned about additional charges. There was no children’s menu. There were three families at the table, the waiter did not offer and did not break the check. We had to count ourselves. In the dish with octopus, in addition, there was beans, which turned out to be not fresh. Fettuccine with forest mushrooms had 2 pieces of ordinary champignons. We were particularly surprised by the small portion size. Everything was not very tasty except for dessert. My advice is to avoid this restaurant.

I recently visited Bonu, an authentic Italian restaurant, and I have to say I was really impressed! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The decor was simple yet elegant, with warm lighting and rustic accents that made me feel like I was in a small town in Italy.

The atmosphere and service were great. Although the food wasn’t really authentic Italian, they were good in general. The chocolate mousse cake was probably the most impressive one we had from our meal.

I’ve been 3 times and every time it’s amazing. The space is beautiful, the staff is super friendly and the service is great, the wine list is high quality. Highly recommend the meatballs and the burrata for appetizers, the pinsa with nduja sausage, the truffle mushroom pasta and the lobster ravioli! And the seafood linguine is a show stopper packed with fresh seafood perfect light tomato sauce delicious!

I can’t express how much I love this place — an elegant well-oiled machine in the heart of downtown St. Pete. The ambiance, food and staff are top tier. Their lively atmosphere is the perfect place to bring a group of family or friends as well as first date. Every single dish we ordered was delicious and the table side Aperol Spritz is a fun addition for brunch or dinner. The Pistachio & Ricotta Torte was my favorite and I’ll be ordering it for every special occasion.

Friends said the past with mushrooms is incredible here which drew me in, however the $29.00 price was rough to swallow. Nice atmosphere, service was decent but the food.. Not great. The Bolognese was bland and tasteless I rigatoni not the best choice for that sauce. The cacio e pepe was more like an alfredo with pepper on it. Waiter was kind enough to remove the Bolognese from the bill. I would rethink eating here especially for the price point.

Food is not bad, but they have stuffed so many tables inside of this restaurant that it feels like everyone is eating on top of each other. Prices are also high
