The food was absolutely amazing. The server didn’t act like she was happy to be working. Never asked how our food was or even checked back with our table. I would have ordered another cocktail or desert, but whatever. One person asked for a waiter, and it was never received.

I didn’t know what to expect from Prime Time as this was my first time trying them. From the moment we walked in we were greeted friendly, sat immediately and had our drink orders taken with no wait. The crab stuffed portobello appetizer was delicious, the salad bar while modest was well stocked and fresh and the entrees came out sizzling hot and delicious. An excellent experience and we will definitely be back!

Appetizers were hot and yummy. We had the truffle fries and bacon wrapped jalapeños. Prime rib (medium rare) was pleasant. Ribeye steak was…sad and horrible. Asked for it to be prepared medium rare, it was beyond that and very dry. Jalapeño cornbread side was stale enough to break windows. Veggie sides were subpar. Food was hot, and that’s important. Service was interesting. The young woman was kind and attentive, the man helping her practically threw our plates on the table…assuming they were too hot to carry. All we heard while dining was staff (mostly the aforementioned man) complaining about dirty dishes and each other and having to do silverware. Considering we were the only guests in the restaurant at the time, we definitely expected better after spending over $100 at a steak and chop house. Disappointing is an understatement.

A group of 5 of us were looking for somewhere new to eat so we thought we would try Prime Time arriving we found they were very busy, but they were able to seat us. We had a very friendly waiter who was quickly going from table to table handing the busy crowd. We enjoyed a great Salad Bar with lots of choices and hot buns with a delicious sweet butter. Our table had prime rib, ribeyes and sirloin we all agreed the meal was delicious and everything was cooked as ordered. Due to the busyness of the restaurant, we just have to wait for food, but the waitress made up for it in stopping to inform us of the situation and they quickly got it out to us and treated us very well do to the small wait. The entire restaurant was packed with people who were enjoying their meals and a very clean environment and friendly wait staff. Sadly there was a customer who noticed our wait for our food and posted a one star review mentioning it. We feel terrible that he did this as he did not know how the staff handled this with us and how over the top they made this up for us. Everyone should realize when places are busy there is going to be waits. We new going in they were busy. BUSY means a GREAT Restaurant! Our group was impressed with our first visit and can’t wait to visit Prime Time Steak and Chop House again ! So if you see that one star review on here regarding the table next to hims wait time ignore it . It was not fair for him to post this with out knowing the whole situation.

The most amazing and friendly steakhouse in Siouxland! (this side of heaven) The manager/staff is extremely friendly and the food there is fresh, tasty, and hosts such a wide variety! Their buffet opens at 9 am and closes at 2 p.m.

Great new place to eat between Sioux City and Le Mars. Hinton’s newest addition. Mike, the manager, says 6 weeks in the works. Friendly staff, very helpful. Great salad bar which are very hard to find anymore. Another local contributor is Beeler’s Pork from Le Mars. Had their Mango Pork Chops and very juicy and tender. Yum! Will be back. Have to check out their Sunday buffet. Oh, did I forget for you whiskey and bourbon drinkers, they have a great choice! Wine and beer on tap too!

New steakhouse in Hinton, Iowa. This building has rotated into several restaurants in the last handful of years, so hopefully this will will stay. 2nd day they were open. Plenty of staff, snd all staff seem to pitch in for the others, even if not your server. I had the sirloin with a baked potato and asparagus. You get to choose the 2 sides you want. With many meals, you also get the salad bar. It has several different kinds of greens, and what I consider the good stuff, as in egg and real bacon bits. There are plenty of things to choose from on both the salad bar and also the menu itself. I’ve taken pictures of the menu, so you can see what they have in advance as well if you wish. My steak was ordered medium well, but came out more like rare. I like steaks cooked both ways, so I didn’t say a word and enjoyed it the way it was, but I have no doubt that they would have happily corrected it had I asked. They are very friendly and very accommodating and trying to ensure people have a good experience. If you feel like a short drive, I would consider trying this place out.

Some of the best prime rib around. I love their salad bar because they have pickled herring and pickled beets! Service can be a tad slow, but they acknowledge you and get your drinks promptly. The food is worth the wait!
