The food was amazing and the service was quick but I think what got my attention yhe most was how the manager spoke to the employees. In most restaurants you hear or see the employees getting fussed at and rushed. This manager was thanking ever employee in there for their hard work. Thanked one lady for staying over and told the rest to get them some food to take home with them. That’s the place to work in my opinion.

I came through the drive thru and had to get a meal for both my four-legged friend and myself. They took the time to accommodate me in making her a special steak bowl and were the epitome of customer service, at a drive thru window, nonetheless. They even made sure that I had everything that I could possibly need before I drove off. I have not had such great service in a very long time and appreciated very much that they went out of their way to make sure my experience was fantastic

Tried this restaurant for the first time and I wasn’t really impressed. For the price, I expected a lot more. I ordered the Philly Whiz which barely had any cheeze whiz. It was mostly just a small amount of greasy meat and onions/mushrooms. It’s just way too expensive compared to other sandwich shops in the area. Fries were good but again, way too expensive.

Around 4:30 today, 6/30/2023, I stopped by the Steak Escape in kanawha city,and ordered a sandwich, while waiting for my order, I felt the need to tell the young staff (3 of them,2 males,and 1 female) how much I an elder appreciated their politeness and dedication to their jobs, I advised them that the elder who don’t quite get around like we use too! And we like having a nice place like this to get a change of food,it eases the trouble of cooking….more young people need to know that they’re appreciated and cared about….the sandwich was delicious!

The food was okay I guess. But I’m not a huge fan of this place. I feel like the bread is always stale or just smells weird. Very nice workers tho. I had very good service the last few times I went there with my family. ( Tip: GET THE SMASHED POTATOE! It’s soooooo good!)
