The atmosphere has that old gold rush era, but without the outdated furnishings. Food is simple yet creative in presentation and flavor that leaves your taste buds satisfied. Perfect stop after a long hike in the surrounding Sierra mountains and the price is reasonable for the amount of food you get.

Cute little spot in Placerville, owner operated and nice menu. Not shown in the pictures was an amazing wedge salad that we split. It was so big we could have shared half of one, every bite was delicious. Crisp fresh iceberg lettuce with homemade blue cheese dressing . Bacon crumbles. It’s a yummy great starter.

Nice place, great atmosphere, lousy execution. Very creative food choices including eclectic pizzas with unexpected ingredients,some subs, and salads. However, the service is terrible! We sat and watched other tables, seated after us get their drinks AND food before we got our drinks. When our food finally did come, it was disappointing. When we were ready to leave, we couldn’t find our waitress to save our lives. They serve local wines and beer, but no mixed cocktails. Will probably will not return.

Crazy delicious lunch. All three of us were in food heaven. Chip nachos, taco salad and corn beef flat bread. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Gorgeous restaurant, great service ans amazing food!!!

This restaurant went completely down hill. I’m sorry Al but you deserve better people to work for you. They represent the restaurant and they are giving the worst example this place can give. I used to come here all the time and visited today around lunch time and the 2 ladies that work there completely ignored us. There was only 2 tables taken. It was empty. I sat with my mother and my 2 year old who was begging for food. The bartender and server were completely oblivious , didn’t clean the table we chose. Didn’t ask us if we wanted water. And waited 10 minutes until we finally walked away. Is this the new Public House that was the main pub in placerville??? Never going there again and never spending my money there.
