It came out cold. my son’s quesadilla cheese wasn’t even melted I can make a better quesadilla at home for him. The service seem like he was upset we came in. Went there for my birthday. We have a registered medical service dog. She’s not emotional support. She senses high ammonia levels. We were hassled about her even though we were on the patio without other customers outside..We were asked for her paperwork. We showed them. They read everything including his medical condition. HIPPA VIOLATION!! Before we finished eating, I asked for a menu because I wanted dessert for my birthday. Took 10 minutes to bring a menu. I just decided to get the check and leave. I will not be back!!!!!

I visit Hixson often to see my family since my husband and I move around the country a lot. Right now we live in Denver…Denver has EXCELLENT Mexican food btw, so I’m a pretty good judge when it comes to Mexican restaurants. Now this place was great when it opened, but they’ve remodeled and expanded their menu and bar now. Everything my husband and I have eaten has been delicious, plus the staff is both welcoming and attentive. Such a great place to unwind and have a yummy meal. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, and the location is a bit discreet, but don’t pass them up if you like Mexican food. You won’t be disappointed at all. They’re wonderful!
