I enjoy ramen and I am always searching from different types of Ramen at different establishments. I had high hopes for this place but ultimately I did not enjoy the ramen. I think I got a black pig ramen, honestly can’t remember the name. The ramen didn’t come with an egg but the price to add 1 was reasonable at $1. You meat in the ramen was completely unflavored but everything else was tasty. I didn’t enjoy it much. In terms of the restaurant, the restaurant had a slight smell of urine, perhaps it was just the scents from the outside getting inside. The bathroom was not pleasant either. If you are a Ramen lover, it is still worth a try. The prices are very reasonable.

It’s definitely one of my fav ramen places in philadelphia. They have one of the best Karaage chicken hands down. The service is quick and it is a cash only location. It’s a very reasonable price with lunch special deals as well. It is located across the Jefferson hospital next to milk boys. I highly think this is the best spot for some authentic ramen. There’s alot of space for dining in and good for groups!

You wouldn’t know it was an awesome place just by walking by, but it is. My son and I have been here before and couldn’t wait to come back. We both got the Gates of Hell Ramen and a chicken appetizer. Both were phenomenal. Unfortunately, they only take cash, but their food more than makes up for this inconvenience. Also, they have a ATM. The prices are awesome for a ramen house. $15.00 for a bowl of ramen, a small appetizer, and a small salad. Unbeatable.

Had a good late lunch here, the ramen was nice and juicy and was served within 10mins after order. Service was proper too, and the price of ramen ($15) was good as well. The tonkotsu ramen was fulfiling and delicious.

Delicious!! The broth is full of flavor, the noodles are cooked to perfection and the pock belly is perfectly chard!! The staff is very helpful when trying to decide what you want! It is cash only but they do have an ATM! And it’s 100% worth it

Ordered the gates of hell and porfolio ramen which were on the salty side but very flavorful, rich and filling. We also ordered the gyoza which comes with an order 6 and was absolutely delicious! The prices are great, unfortunately it’s cash only but I believe the fair prices make up for that small inconvenience. Our order was to go and was done in 10 minutes!

Quick and attentive service. Rich and flavorful broths. Can’t go wrong with any of them, but gates or inch are amazing. The fried chicken is cooked to perfection with satisfying crunch. Quiet and intimate atmosphere. Affordable prices.

This is definitely one of Philadelphia’s underrated ramen spots. They offer spicy ramen which seems to be difficult in the area. They do not accept cash on many of their days of the week, only credit card or venmo. They charred the pork belly exceptionally well too.

Ramen was great, but service was so surly it ruined the experience for our party. Had a disagreement about the bill, since it was cash only, for which the waitstaff (orange haired woman) responded very rudely.
