This place is the best!!! The Meatballs are a must do appetizer. The meatballs are cooked perfectly and the sauce, well it gets 10 stars! The pizzas and Lasagna are also super great! The house special Champaign cake is a nice touch to finish off your meal. This place will not disappoint you if you love Italian food. Hands done one of the best kept secrets in eastern Iowa.

The pizza is is fresh, hot, and delicious! The wait was a bit long but it was (rightly) very busy. Definitely worth it! We enjoyed the Bruschetta, Pepperoni Pesto pizza, Shrimp Alfredo pizza, and Char’s Champagne Cake.

First time visiting. Barely had a wait. waiting area is small but the hostess is quick. We Didn’t like the seating, we had someone sat next to us. But I’m sure you can request to not sit there in the middle. the taco pizza I had was good. Breadsticks were meh but their breadsticks sooo .. lol but the meat sauce is good!

I’m from NY and have never had such an amazing pizza! Thin crust was perfect, the toppings were delicious and generous, and the vibe was excellent. Great restaurant for families, dates, or having a bite with friends. Kudos to the chef and cooking staff as well as the servers. Excellent experience! Highly recommend when in Grinnell.

WOW! Delicious, fresh, handmade food, excellent service, inviting ambiance, & affordable prices! Some of the best thin crust pizza I’ve had & it was served piping hot! The house made sausage is amazing. The pag hero was piled so high, it was hard to take a bite out of it. The bruschetta was yummy. Ranch dressing was also tasty. Loved this place & will return next time we’re in town!

I’ve eaten here a few times now & have always had a good meal. This place won best pizza in the state of Iowa award before. My personal experience is that the pizza is good but not the best in Iowa good in my opinion. The service is good, it’s always busy, & the atmosphere is good. My only negative is it is a bit expensive compared to some other places with the same type & quality of pizza. I ordered their house specialty pizza to split & a large 14″ was $23 plus tax for a typical thin style crust pizza. When people talk about this place all the hype behind it makes you believe it’s going to be some life changing experience eating here & you’ll likely be disappointed if you walk in expecting that. If you can ignore all the hype & just go there with a more objective view you should definitely enjoy your meal.

I’m at a loss. This is a nice town, with nice people. The opportunity for great (even good) pizza is there- the ovens are beautiful. I can’t explain how or why they missed the mark so completely- it’s almost like Pagliais set grocery store frozen pizza as the target (if this is the case, they nailed it). The sauce is overpowered by salt, the cheese un- remarkable, the crust has the flavor, body, and color of a saltine cracker (but not the crispness).
