I love this Izakaya (Japanese pub traditionally for after-work drinking). The food menu is excellent and very much authentic. I wish I had more time and an appetite during this visit. I wanted to try everything they have on the menu! Service is excellent and very much to the Japanese standard (Omotenashi).

I have been here for over 15+ years. Been enjoying the food ever since I was shown this place from a friend. I really enjoy the chicken white meat roll aka sasame roll. I have taken many friends here and they enjoy it. It’s my to go place for authentic Japanese izakaya food. I really love coming back.

It’s 10pm on a Sunday and you Uber to Chinatown because you had no idea most of the restaurants and other lovely shops have closed down for the night, understandably because people sleep obviously. You contemplate making a mad dash across the street to search for food because you make bad choices sometimes, but wait.. what is that restaurant and sake bar on the second story facing the street to Skylar, the shopping center and also your friend who was laughing that they had the same name? Ichiza looks open. Oh dang, this looks way better than your noodle bars back home. Open almost 24 hours? Near only beer under 10 dollars you’ve seen all weekend, imported no less? Fantastic food and amazing staff? Free little appetizer for leaving a Google review you forgot to submit until Tuesday but still had a great experience?! Mother of God.. you will come back every time.

I really enjoyed coming here! Being from japan I always look for a place to help the fact that I miss home, and this reminds me of a izakaya I used to go to out there. It’s real home-y and has a really good selection of food. They have chu-hi’s and those are kind of hard to find in the US. Coming here every paycheck!

I’m from Thailand and this is my first time to visit here. First I have to say sorry for a fees picture. I forgot to take a photo before I ate but everything is perfect for me. If I have more chance I’ll definitely come back here again. Nice service , I love so much ♥️♥️

Found out about Ichiza from their stall in Foodieland. My partner wanted to come here again because he loves the food SO much!! And I have to say, I am not disappointed. I got Takoyaki and Beef curry with Pork katsu while my partner got the shoyu ramen. Service was very friendly! Got to sit near the cooks which was cool! Finished the food very quickly to be honest lol. Definitely recommend this place for japanese food!! Next time for sure I would try their sushi! Prices are pretty reasonable compared to other japanese restaurants! You can do reservations if you’re worried about seating, since it is a small place (through their website). It is also located upstairs, which you can take the elevator or stairs for.

This place is exquisite! I am notoriously picky about Japanese restaurants in America, due to my travels to Japan. There’s generally only a handful of places from state to state that I absolutely adore and are comparable to places in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyushu. This place definitely fits that bill!

100000000000000/10 it was super nostalgic coming back to this restaurant after 10+ years. My family and i would eat here often when I was younger. The food quality has remained fresh, delicious, and flavorful after all these years. Serving size and portions are generous. All food items on the menu hit the spot so good i could cry. I love this place and my family and i love the owner (who may not even remember us anymore, but we thank him for hosting us and taking care of this beautiful establishment that holds memories dear to me. My love for japanese cuisine started here and ill always reminisce how my family and i shared our enjoyment over the meals served here)
