Great coffee and sammies, small selection of fresh bakery. Amazing healthful and diverse grocery store and local knick knacks. Wonderful staff that remembers you. Good selection of wine and beer.

Purchased a $11.99 chicken salad sandwich and was I disappointed. The establishment used to put the chicken salad on a circular croissant. NOW, the salad is on two very small size croissants. Maybe upgrade to the Costco size croissants for the prices charged. I understand the economies rise, but damn, stop skimping or lower the prices. The sandwich should be 9.99 as small as it was.

I love you 3rd St!!! I’ve been in the neighborhood for a while now and this is always my go up iron. Tons of yummy local snacks, and I love the iced tea staff is obviously my favorite thing about the store, always happy to see you it makes my day every time!

A unique local eat, Union kitchen puts some down-home flair on some big city eats.

I had the turkey club and it’s humongous! My picture is of half the turkey club. It was delicious; if I ordered it again, I’d ask for less mayo; otherwise, very satisfied.

This place is cute and historical! Sooo many cute yummy snacks! I wish i had spent a bit more time perusing! Grabbed a mocha latte and it was perfect! I forgot to tell the barista half sweet (the average mocha is like drinking a bottle of sugar so i always tell baristas to go light) but i didnt have to this time! She got it perfect without me having to tell her. I will defintely come again

This place gave me food poisoning. Avoid the sandwiches unless you want to be sick for three days. Pre-packaged snacks are probably fine.

Apathetic staff who acknowledged our presence with lifeless stares. Breakfast sandwiches were expensive and dripping with mayonnaise goop. Depressing inside. Not a great way to start our morning in DC.

Excellent lattes, sandwiches, beer/wine and food goods. They support and off a lot of local options. Italian sandwich and a blind dog chocolate chip cookie are my go-to. There’s a little patio at the side too. Invaluable part of the community that also supports this community! Love this place

Amazing team! They made my morning this morning! I can’t believe they had compass coffee right down the street. Oh and if you haven’t tried the dirty chai tea latte it’s a must!
