At just over 2 years old this small vegan Mexican restaurant definitely delivers! The flavors, portion size, and appearance are all there! Don’t forget the food is vegan! Cholesterol free and so tasty! They are short handed so don’t expect your food to be prepared within 5 minutes. I’m sure they are looking for more help. The tres leches has such a unique flavor I enjoyed my time there and will definitely be back!

Found this place on a random vegan restaurant search and we wanted to try it. I’m glad we did, we tried one taco of each and we definitely recommend the Al pastor and birria tacos. We also tried loaded nacho fries and it was super. Will visit this place again.

Still having issues with receiving partial servings. Food is AMAZING (Al pastor tacos are maybe my favorite vegan meal of all time), the queso is next level delicious BUT the bowls are always shorted. This is discouraging since ordering via UberEats it is $10.50 for a 16oz. They used to fill the bowls to the top but lately they seem to be getting lower and lower. 🙁

Extensive menu that includes tacos, quesadillas, a hamburger, flautas, chimichangas, bowls, sopapillas, churros, tres leches cake, margaritas, and mimosas. Came for lunch on a Friday, and it was fairly busy without a wait. Sat outside and enjoyed our meal in the sunshine. Service is top notch: even though my brother’s order was heard correctly but rung up wrong, the staff graciously corrected the order without having us worry about paying the price difference between combos 1 and 2. Tacos are street taco sized (i.e., small), so if you’re hungry, you might want you get at least three. And the tres leches cake is huge! If you haven’t learned to share already, it’s never too late.

My first time visiting Pepitas new location and it is BOMB! I have been enjoying these vegan options since Pepitas was originally housed under Milpa’s roof! The food is absolutely phenomenal as it always has been, the place is cute and cozy, and the service absolutely amazing!! Nicholas, you are so awesome!! Awesome menu full of flavor, I left feeling super full and satisfied. It was my first time visiting Pepitas and wanted to try as many tacos of their tacos as I could and I was happy to see that they had flexibility in the menu! I chose to get their “combo 3 meal” which allowed me to pick three of their tacos with a serving of black beans and rice. I picked their fried chicken taco, birria, and their al pastor. All three were super tasty and their beans were super savory.

Not vegan, just a poor unt student. They have a really good happy hour from 2-5pm where you can get 2 tacos and a drink for $5 which is great for a student like me on a budget with not much money. The only think I don’t like here is the Al pastor everything else is great! The guacamole veggie tacos are amazing. They’re only available during happy hour but I’ve gone in at night before and they’re been nice enough to make them for me which I really appreciate. Def give it a try!
