I been to this restaurant a year ago when everything was great. Something happened. Yesterday our service was very slow. We noticed people that came in after us were served there food first, when we ordered first. And my prime rib was the worst cut of meat I ever experienced. My guest rotisserie chicken was over cooked and had to be sent back. By time it came back, we all finished our meals and waited for my guest to finish. And, to top it off. I left a $20.00 tip and noticed on my bank app, they made the $20.00 to $30.00. I just got off the phone with the manager about this. He tells me the waiter made a mistake. Never again will I spend my time in this restaurant again. Shameful!

Wasn’t a fan of the service provided by the waiter. He asked my girlfriend and I for our ID’s when we ordered drinks. After presenting them, he hadn’t even remembered what we’d wanted. It forced me to think he was more worried about if we were of age to drink, rather than what we actually wanted. Soon after a couple who looked to be similar in age to my girlfriend and I sat at neighboring table. The waiter came with their menus MUCH faster than he did, and they ordered drinks, no ID needed. We got eventually got our food and the steaks were GREAT!! However, the waiter only checked in once with us and I had to ask what veggies were available. Not such a big deal until he answered in what sounded like an annoyed tone. That I dare even suggest asparagus with my $40< steak on my birthday. I don't want to assume that service I was provided at parker. was because of the way I was dressed or the shade of my skin but it's quite obvious when all the other guests were a lot lighter than me and are receiving proper restaurant service.

First time there, great experience! Food was delicious, they had great special fall cocktail options, the fall sangria was amazing! Ahi tuna was cooked perfectly served with wasabi dressing, prime rib was tender and cooked perfectly with seasoned vegetables. Tables were spaced nicely so didn’t feel crowded at all – Covid safe feeling. We will definitely visit again.

If you are looking a really good meal in Trumbull this is it. The place was tucked away and would never have found it or noticed it if it wasn’t for google maps but great find.

The waitress was nice, although not knowledgeable about the menu items. She was new apparently to the whole waitressing experience. We asked for the prime rib, and she didn’t know it was a steak. She asked a co-worker who told her it was ribs. Our server came back and said we should pick another steak that was actually steak. We picked the New York prime, thinking they didn’t actually have a prime rib. We ordered it medium well, and it was over cooked and dried out in certain places. The pictures looked a lot better than the actual food. I don’t believe we’ll be returning any time soon, or even at all. The two star rating was generous, because our server was nice. Hopefully she and her uninformed co-worker now knows the difference between prime rib, and spare ribs.

Not all restaurants need to have giant portions. Parker has a delicious menu of small plates, sandwiches and dinners. Not a crowded menu, and what is on it is made very well. Basic comfort items like a pile of fries up to stuffed shrimp pasta specials. Moderate cost but worth it.

Great food, great presentation, great staff. Not just steak and scotch, but, well, that’s what I got. Better than expected for Trumbull center, but not as intimate as I was looking for. Bar section and dining room. The picture is the 40oz porterhouse off the bone with A1 butter on the side, rare. Designed for two, eaten by one. 🙂

Although the food was good, I don’t think it was $60 ribeye good. Service was okay, as we only heard about that nights specials, being told to another table after we had placed our order. Water came out same time as our apps. Prime rib was fantastic though and it was a beast. Surprisingly not crowded on a Saturday night, is don’t know if that is good it bad. I am on the fence about going back.

Good food and service. But music is annoying and loud. I don’t like to pay good money to have to shout across the table to have a conversation.
