Man, I wish there were more places like this in the world. I was on a road trip and was saved from corporate butt food by the desk guy at my motel who recommended Brown Jerry’s. It was a perfect walk on a warm summer evening to what turned out to be a great half-rack of ribs, cornbread to knock your socks off, and a super welcoming, friendly place. Nice job everyone! Makes me wish I lived here.

The half slab of ribs are fabulous and the BBQ sauce complements it well. The creamy oven baked mac & cheese, and corn bread soufflé where all fantastic as well. The inside has been recently redone and is well lit and clean! I’ve been here a few times and have never had a bad meal.

We got the steak special…. huge t-bone steak, green beans, salad, and baked potato. It was all very good. The steaks were undercooked, so we had to send them back. Brown Jerry himself brought them back after they fixed them. And he came back a soon after to make sure they were right. Nice guy. Great service, and the food was really tasty.

I was taken to Brown Jerry’s by a friend who told me that everything is amazing here. I’m extremely picky but comfort food and BBQ are my love languages. I order the pulled pork Mac n cheese with no beans as I already mentioned I’m picky and I don’t eat beans. OMGOODNESS! This was so incredible. The winner of all comfort foods. The pulled pork was perfectly tender and the Mac n cheese was the ultimate in cheesy goodness. I’m seriously thinking I need to drive 30 minutes and duck in and get one to go! Save room for dessert, as I did not, but I had a bite of my friend’s bread pudding which was very good. He said he was going to save half his pizza which he ate all of it because it was so good. I almost licked my plate.

Believe it or not, YES! That food actually IS as good as it smells! Great prices too! Actually found this place on accident. Wasn’t able to go to the store I came to town for, but I heard about a consignment shop it sounded like it might be a fun enough place to check out. Pulled up, got out of the car, and man did it smell great. I wasn’t hungry, but that smell sure talked me into checking it out and I am more than glad that I did.

Absolute horrible experience. One server took our drink order, and another brought our drinks. We waited a good 15 minutes to have our order taken. In the meantime, another couple sat down next to us and had their order taken. I flagged down a person who worked there and asked, ” Where’s our server?” A third server came over and took our order. While waiting for our food, a server was behind me telling that table she didn’t know when they were getting their food. She came back again and said that they were out of corn. We ordered corn as a side dish! The server who took our order never informed us! We were waiting for over forty minutes! No one ever came to our table and mentioned no corn! There was no telling when or what food we were going to get served! After a good 45 minutes, I no longer wanted to eat there! We got up and left! My wife left three dollars for iced tea. I wouldn’t have given them it, but my wife’s a nice person! It’s a shame because I had been wanting to check out this place for quite some time.

Went for lunch last week, have not stopped talking about it since! Probably the best barbecue I’ve ever had, I’ve never had brisket melt in my mouth the way it did. You know the food is gonna be good when you walk in and see a roll of paper towels at every table. We got ribs, the brisket sandwhich, the baked beans, potato salad, pulled pork nachos and brisket mac n cheese, needless to say we went home with about 3 meals worth of leftovers haha. Our server Brenna was absolutely phenomenal, overall great experience.
