Stopped to walk around Bally and the sign said – best fries in town. They were excellent. But the server (Wright) was really friendly and made the whole experience 5 star. We will be going back – we had the Reuben and mushroom wrap – both were excellent. The house made chips were amazing too and there was plenty. Great place to stop if you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the food while traveling 100!

It’s a little place with an old atmosphere. The food takes quite a while to arrive, even appetizers took some time. Some meals were delicious and others were bland. The mashed potatoes weren’t warm but the pot roast was hot. Any meal that comes with crab meat, I would avoid because it’s not fresh, tastes very “fishy” and doesn’t really fit in well. The appetizers might actually be better than some entrees. It’s like a hit or miss in my opinion.

We arrived just before the dinner hour. I had the meatball parm and my companion had the fried pickles and meatloaf skillet. The house made french fries were quite good, but the portion was small. The pickles in the pickle chips could’ve been drained better; they were a bit more moist than we like. The wait staff was a little overworked and distracted. It seems like it would be a fun place to meet up with friends though.

Excellent food, even better service! Tori was the hostess, waitress, AND cook for the day. Despite the staff shortage, our drinks were filled regularly, our food came out hot and was delicious, and the atmosphere was laid back and fun. Tori did a great job and had a sweet disposition while taking care of us. We will definitely be back soon!
