“Country Style” comfortably quaint atmosphere and very friendly, hardworking staff where the food is very good and served promptly. The menu is simple and makes it easy to choose well. Prices are unexpectedly moderate. It’s easily worth 20% more than they charge. Please try this place if you can. Nice people.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. This neighborhood is so lucky to have it! I had half rack of ribs. More ribs than most laces give you. Smoked Mac and cheese was wonderful. You certainly left there full and happy!!!!

Great food and friendly people the service was fantastic. We had desert first and one of each was ordered for our group and they were all delishes. You can’t go wrong with anything you order but you need to try the smoked mac and cheese it’s homemade and it is awesome.

How this place has anything above 1-2 stars is truly baffling ! We went for dinner based off these reviews and boy oh boy were we ever surprised ( not in a good way )and extremely disappointed!! We should have got up and walked out the moment we saw everyone eating off paper plates and plastic forks & spoons ( red flag #1 ) , and they were Dollar store quality. Once we were seated it did take sometime for someone , who wasn’t our waitress , but said she’d be with us ” shortly ,to get our drink order , while waiting we noticed that very few people actually had food in front of them (red flag #2 ) once our waitress did come to take our order , we ordered the pork jalapeño nachos for a appetizer, and both of us ordered the Salisbury steak , him , Mac & cheese , me , sweet potatoes casserole . When the nachos came out they consisted of the chips , meat ,nacho cheese and ranch drizzled … jalapeños …for the pork jalapeño nachos ?? Oooh no they ran out . The main issue was the nachos were COLD , not room temp … COLD . Our meal followed very very quickly . To start , the mashed potatoes were very obviously INSTANT, and tasted instant , like powdery . The Salisbury steak was shaped like a burger , and it Kind of tasted like Salisbury steak but the texture was wayyyyyy off ,it’s very mushy and soft , weird . My husbands ” smoked Mac & cheese ” … when we saw it we were both like .. what the !?!? It literally LOOKED … dirty , seriously like it had just come out of a dumpster . But more importantly was how it tasted …. just as bad as it looked . It was soooooo dry and hard , it actually made a crunching sound . So , do not believe reviews because this place should have been a 5 Star Michelin restaurant according to reviews . I can tell you this is the only restaurant around for miles so maybe these people just don’t know what good food is ♀️

Nicely hidden out in the country restaurant. Filled with local residents on the limited (best to call first) hours/days they are open. Food items can sell out, ensure to read the menu board for specials and what is selling out for the night. Bring an umbrella or sun shade if you have to wait outside before you can enter to get in. You can put your name on a list to get seating over (no appointment) walk in guests. Food is served on 100% disposable plates and cutlery (Dishwasher person gets a break). Beer is cool and available. I did not see anyone enjoying the box of wine. I had food and at the end of the meal put it in a box.

An hidden gem by the lake. We order food from here often. The food is always on point and the staff is awesome. We are fortunate to live just down the road so take out is great. If you want to eat in, go early.
