First off, their website is what they now call clickbait because the prices are nowhere near what their website says. I ordered the junior burger and a small onion ring. At first I thought the onion rings were going to be great by the third onion ring the onions were liquefied and squished in my mouth when I bit into what looks like a crispy outside batter. The junior burger was so thin I could see through it. It wasn’t even a quarter of an inch thick. The french fries that my friend ordered with her chicken strips tasted like old grease. What may have been at one time a cute little grassy area with picnic tables is now been all but forgotten. The grass is really nothing more than little pieces that have been left over from 10 years before and there’s so many little dips and potholes that you’re likely to turn an ankle trying to carry your food to the tables. Instead of making a good home style burger stand burger, they have relied on their past glory. I, for one, would not pay $ for dinner there again, Pepsi or no Pepsi.

I recently chaired a statewide conference hosted by Yakima County for about 25 leaders. We decided to have lunch as a group, as I promised that we could eat at a place that made the best burgers and fry/tartar sauce in Central Washington. We showed up 20+ deep unannounced, and Stop & Go did not disappoint! Not only did they quickly get all of our orders in, but each received their food about 5 minutes after ordering, and we all got to sit and eat outside on a gorgeous Spring afternoon day! I got a ton of amazing compliments from attendees, but the real praise goes to Stop & Go!

I love burger shacks, and this one definitely qualifies! They are very good at explaining all of their fry options, of which they have many. You can order and then wait for your order at the drive-thru, or use the walk up window if you’re planning to stay and eat anyhow at the picnic tables. Outstanding burger? Nah, but it satisfies a craving. And the fry options are quite unique.

Went about 1/2 hr before closing. Hard to find in the dark. No good lighting so we drove right past it even with GPS and had to turn around at a gas station further down the street.
