A hidden gem! Went for the first time and the food and hospitality was amazing. They answered all our questions and gave great recommendations. They altered for our spice preferences and we enjoyed a great lunch. The jerk chicken and jollof rice were hot, fresh, and very good.

I stopped in to pick up lunch today. I got the traditional meat pies, cabbage salad with corn and for dessert, caramelized plantains. There was enough for me to have two meals and everything was delicious!

If you are in search of spicy flavorful food, this place. It’s a mix of African and Caribbean cuisine. The people running the restaurant is very friendly and helpful in explaining the food. The restaurant is new, clean and well maintained. The taste of the food is great as they are made fresh. They can also make most dishes vegetarian if requested. I would recommend this place for a good meal.

You must try if you like Cajun and African cuisine. They have a huge selection. I can’t wait to try everything on their menu. 100% my wife and I will be back soon! I could see myself ordering the fried okra and plantains just to snack on while I drive or even for movie nights with the wife. So glad I found this place!

Went here for Valentine’s Day with my fiancé to try some food from his home state of Louisiana. We ordered food there and some to go and it was so worth it! The wait was a little long but to compensate they let us try some fried okra. They were SUPER friendly and we would definitely go back.thank you for making a great experience!

First of all I’ve never felt more disrespected by a business owner!!! She was extremely rude and I will never go back. Ordered jerk chicken and $29 brisket dinner and they gave us 2 pcs of cornbread for a side!?! And on top of that the chicken was dried out and brisket had no flavor. I called the restaurant to inquire as I ordered through DoorDash and was told to bring the cornbread back for rice and beans. I drive 20 mins to restaurant and it seems they are short staffed, lady comes out from the back and I explained who I was and she said the brisket only comes with cornbread. I asked why did you tell me I can choose a side if I can’t, why doesn’t it reflect the menu? She acknowledged it should be on the menu and says O have to charge you for the rice and beans I say ok. She pretends to ring me up then steps away from the register and says, “I’ll tell door dash to give you a refund for the cornbread”. I say ok and asked about the rice and beans again and she says there is no rice and beans. She went on to say they not making money and they spent 18 hrs cooking everything from scratch and they buy goat for $10 a lb and sell for 6lb because the people like it. Every time I say anything she cuts me off and complains how they’re business is suffering. As she steps always I ask about the rice and beans. She says again there is no rice and beans. I asked are you refusing to seek me rice and beans? She says yes and asks me to leave or she will call police?!? I say that’s why no one is in here now. Looks at how you are treating me a customer.

I was taken here on a date and it was such a cute and intimate setting. They have lovely decor and a calming vibe. The service was amazing and dishes were prepared with love. The Jollof Rice was perfectly spiced and large portion. The Bean and Plantains were amazing as well. I would absolutely dine with them again as they took great care of me while dining. Lovely chef and owners!
