Not all it was supposed to be. My perch at over $18 was 3 pieces of over breaded premade over cooked boredom. Though the tartar sauce was excellent. The lasagna that was certainly not the best in lake county as the sauce tasted like Ragu. But it was huge. The two who got the NY strip found it was cooked perfectly to their liking (not always an easy task). For nearly $100 with only 2 beers I can find better food for 4. Not impressed. Our server was great and was tipped accordingly.

Some of the most lack luster food I have gotten from a bar pretending to be a restaurant. I would have gotten better burger and from Wendy’s for less. My son’s meal came out missing stuff he then had to ask for and wait a long time for, only to get sick from it later in the evening. And to top it off poor service.

We were going to adjacent restaurant which was closed on Sunday. We were up visiting grandchildren who recently moved to Mentor. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious. My wife rarely comments on her food, she said her wings were excellent. My spaghetti was delicious. The young adults we were treating enjoyed their dinners. I would suggest you try it. Our waitress was very cordial.

Food is generally amazing. The service that has been there forever is great. However, new bartender and waitress like to talk about people right in front of them and when you call them on it they get beyond furious. Not sure if my food was messed with so I tossed it in the trash. Anyone who talks about people right in front of them then get furious when you call them on it who knows what they will do to your food. Just saying! Used to be my favorite food spot. With these new people. Sorry! No poison for me!!

Nice bar and good bar food. Does have a bit of an identity crisis though. Has mostly American food but has Italian sign and name. Only had 5 Italian menu items. Bartender was awesome though and very quick. I like this place and would recommend it highly. I know I’ll go back anytime!
