The Unknown “Who Can It Be?” Critic
1st time here with the family, not impressed. We had a “Groupon”. Once we finally got a lane to bowl. We were welcomed by dirty dishes and trash. The server showed up 30 minutes later. She never removed these dishes. We asked for menus, they were sticky, she never came back and we bowled for an hour. We won’t be going back. It’s sad because we love visiting the Bass Pro.

We got a Championship Burger and a fish burger. Both came out excellent. The sweet teas were super sweet. Our waiter was the best waiter we’ve had in a while. He was quick, he gave good suggestions, and he was kind and friendly to the max.

We only went there to wait while a friend was still shopping at Bass Pro. First of all we had to look for a servant to get seated. When we were served we didn’t get any plates for our starters. When the main corses finally arrived at the table, we had no cutlery and had to wait for the fourth plate to arrive later. That was Alfredo shrimp pasta, overcooked and it had four shrimps in it. We didn’t finish our food, so it wasn’t good, since we were hungry when we came in. For 4 people the check was $85 for a bad meal and horrible service. The single star is just as low as the review allows for, not deserved.

This bowling alley is a DISASTER. One guy running it had no idea what he was doing. Of the 8 lanes, four lanes were broken and one family had their lane assigned and had sat for FORTY-FIVE minutes waiting for the guy to fix the lane. A business group had three lanes reserved and had to get a refund because they couldn’t accommodate. My kids (who LOVE to bowl) were so over stimulated from the check-in situation that they wanted to leave asap. It was a joke!

The staff was friendly enough, but my daughter and I waited an hour for so-so food that was not complicated (fish and chips, mac and cheese). They even got my drink order wrong. Absolutely not worth going there. It’s two stars and not one because at least the food was edible — the macaroni tasted like it came from a boxed mix and probably did.

Experience the shops and attractions, but skip the food. We had the fish and chips. The fish pieces were nicely portioned, but they were unseasoned, the batter was not cooked all the way through and the oil tasted old. The fish was served warm and appeared to be cooked in oil that was not hot enough. Same with the fries. They were barely warm, unseasoned and not fresh…they appeared to have been sitting for quite a while. Save your money. Go to McDonald’s and get a fish filet with fries and a drink.

This place was probably the biggest let down I’ve ever encountered. In the atmosphere of the Bass Pro Shop at the Pyramid, my expectations for service and food were high. Unfortunately, those expectations were not met. We had the cheese curds as an appetizer. I ordered the Steakhouse Burger, fries, and a half house salad.
