I often look for a good ramen restaurant every city that I visit. As a formal Japanese restaurant chef from a major city, I’d say that this place has decent ramen bowls. I often evaluate the texture of the noodles and the deep flavor of the broth. I’d say they are good enough but I not a big fan of broth that relies heavily on MSG for it’s flavor.

Such a cute ramen bar with tables, booths, and counter seats for dining in! The staff was great – welcoming and attentive. We went in for a late lunch and were greeted with a smile. The hostess seated us quickly with menus, and the waiter came to answer any questions and get our drink order. It wasn’t very crowded as we went in at an off time, but there were still a couple of groups eating.

I went to try Kami with some friends on April 4, 2023. When you walk in you notice how clean the restaurant is. When walking in you will be greeted by an amazing hostess. This was my first time trying a ramen bar, but our waiter were really patient with us as we tried to figure out what we want. I decided to get the Tonkotsu Black Ramen with Chicken Chashu and Mushrooms, while my friend had the Spicy Chicken Ramen with Butter. My friend really love the Spicy Chicken Ramen. The Tonkotsu Black Ramen was just ok for me. The meats were really good, but the broth just wasn’t hitting it for me.

The food was delicious. I had the spicy shrimp and added bok choy, spinach, and mushrooms. I had so much I had to get a to-go container. We also ordered the chocolate cake (fried) with ice cream, strawberry, banana, and chocolate drizzle. BEST CAKE EVER!!

Fantastic ramen and a variety of appetizers, drinks and dessert. I had the Goyu ramen with NY strip and my wife had the Slurp Up Cilantro ramen with chicken. We also had dessert that was really good (tempura fried cheesecake and fried chocolate cake). The atmosphere is nice and the service was very good. We will definitely be back soon.

This was my first time in a Ramen Bar. I went for lunch with colleagues. First, I appreciate the quick service for lunch. They had a lunch menu that was easy to order from, especially since it was a new experience. I ordered the chicken curry. It was good, and I really enjoyed the chicken. It was a HUGE amount of food. I ordered with thin noodles, but I probably should have stuck with the regular noodles as the thin ones were hard to pick up in the spoon. With the lunch order, you get 1 appetizer. I ordered the spring roll. It was really delicious. I think if I go back, I’d try the vegetarian option with just vegetables. Overall, quick service, helpful, and calm atmosphere during the work week, good food and could carry out enough for a dinner.
