We stopped here for lunch one Saturday last month after doing some shopping on the main street. It was not crowded, so we got a table right away. Our server was very friendly but spoke mostly Spanish. I was a little concerned because I don’t speak any Spanish and barely understand a few words, but the language barrier did not affect our order.

Local, family run, traditional Mexican restaurant. Server was fast and friendly. Good lunch deals. They fill you up. There are shops and a movie theater nearby so good place for drinks and food before a movie 😉

The waiter was attentive and quick to assist, the food was of good quality (although the shredded chicken got lost in my companion’s nachos, which was the only complaint either of us had), and they had chile peppers on the fabric of their booth seats. The music and decor set the mood. I had a pork tamal and chicken enchilada combo with beans and rice, and a chicken quesadilla for an appetizer (and to take home for snacking later), and their queso dip was well seasoned and just ever so slightly spicy, and I loved it. Overall, will go back. I want to try their fried ice cream next! (Also to-go margaritas, specifically mango, sounded interesting, but I was driving and didn’t know when we’d get home, so opted out this time, but may try it in the future)

A group of 12 of us (three families) dined at Los Jalepenos after a HOT Saturday at the baseball field, and we very much enjoyed the food, atmosphere and especially the margaritas! I had the shredded beef enchilada and it was perfect! My kids had the beef flautas with French fries (they sure did) and my husband had the Carne asada burrito. All of it was delicious! This place is no frills, but the food, service and drinks exceeded expectation.

We were greeted right away with very friendly staff. Didn’t wait long for our food to arrive… which is good, we were both hungry when we got there! Food was delicious!! Should have taken a picture before we gobbled it up, lol. We ordered the Colorado Burrito and a #6 (taco, enchilada & tamale). Portions are large and reasonably priced.
