Food is ok, Chips and salsa isn’t great nor free so don’t ask for them. They’re not good enough to be worth the extra they’ll add to your bill. Service is slow. This place has become awful and extremely overpriced. They charge you for everything. They charged me 5 bucks just to pay with a no rewards debit card which made me very upset. 3 people end up paying around $60. Just go to the roadhouse nearby instead. You’d actually get your money’s worth.

The Bistec a la Mexicana was great, thinly sliced marinated beef with onions and peppers. Unique and delicious. Owners were there and helped explained dishes that were new to me.

EPIC FAIL!!! The hubby and I went out of our way to come here due to the good reviews and were very disappointed. We each ordered a barbacoa and carnitas al pastor tacos with rice and beans. The barbacoa was dry, chewy and disgusting. My hubby found a hair in the salsa…and the al pastor tacos were sooo salty. We paid about $30 for subpar food and service. Don’t come here if you really want authentic, fresh Mexican food. I will say the canned beans were good and the flour tortillas were edible and the horchata almost tasted meh ( it was probably Zucos). Oh and my hubby said the water tasted awful (he is not a water snob, eats and drinks whatever, seriously!) He said “ Stipes tacos are way better than these”. I really hope they get it together…
