Always a great experience here! Find a table or grab a seat at the bar. Been here many times and haven’t been disappointed yet. Food is always good. Favorite appetizer is the raw fries – available in floppy, medium or crispy – my fave is the floppy with blue cheese crumbles and malt vinegar. The picture here is one of my favorite burgers.

This was my first time here. 4 pm on a Tuesday and it was not crowded, but not empty. Wait staff are all pleasant and it’s bar food, but we’ll done and at a good price. The xxx wings are legitimately xxx. They have raw fries. They make you choose between floppy, crisp and medium. Thats messed up. We chose floppy with blue cheese crumbles. It’s really good, but all i could think about was, what if i had chosen crispy. We’ll definitely be back. If you don’t want your choices to come down to chain restaurants, you better support your local businesses

While traveling googled “restaurants near me:. This place has 4/5 stars and truly deserves a 5th star. We arrived post lunch. There wasn’t crowd but judging by the food I can guarantee there normally is one. The food was his and fresh. We ordered Philly cheese steaks. Mozzarella sticks. Fried flounder. EVERY item was excellent.

If you find yourself in downtown historic Camden SC, be sure to have lunch or supper at Steeple Chase. It is a welcoming atmosphere and the people are very friendly. One of the managers, Devon, is super nice and ready to make your experience enjoyable. You can tell a good place when even the locals come in to dine.

Service and atmosphere are pretty good, but the number of trip hazards and code violations those poor bartenders have to deal with is absurd. Holes in the floor barely covered by plywood, standing water on the floor, improper storage of chemicals.. its ridiculous. On top of that, the French dip is disgusting. Pre frozen mystery meat that was just slapped on a chewy chunk of bread. The au jus was pretty good to come from a bag of powder.
