Ordered a pulled pork grinder. Great balance of pork ham cheese pickles and bread. One of the best grinders I’ve had. Almost forgot. The Rhode island soup was excellent too.

A excellent place for a Mortadella sub and slice of cheese pizza. Very friendly staff and aside from the great food I was given fantastic directions to get around the congestion to my hotel. An outstanding local place that should not be overlooked. Thanks!

Anyone within a 200 mile radius craving an Italian sub would be wise to get themselves to Fresca asap. If I was on Long Island I would swim across the sound for this sandwich. The Italian combo was absolutely delicious and enormous! I sampled the soup (lemon chicken) while I waited and it was phenomenal. The chicken was moist and plentiful and it had a distinct lemon flavor without being sour, you could tell it was masterfully made. So good!

My husband and I split an Italian sub, it was huge , fresh and delicious. We also bought some fresh papadelli pasta, it did not disappoint either. The sandwiches looked delicious

Used to like their subs, but the bread is a few days old usually, not chewy/crisp. Dry. It happened 3 times now. A good sandwich shop takes pride in fresh Italian bread and would never use up the old stuff first.

The mini combo is just right for people who love grinders but need portion control. My husband got the steak and cheese special. Thank you also for plenty of filling and delicious fresh bread! The sausage and cheese tortellini soup was a tad on the salty side, but had a nice flavor.

A little gem in Mystic. The best grinders, sandwiches, and soups around. A great lunch time place. Closed Sundays. They expanded last May and there is now some limited seating. Even better!

The best grinders in SE CT and possibly New England. Get the Italian—you won’t regret it.
