We stopped over here for lunch over Memorial day weekend, and the place was quite empty. They do not serve any lunch-sized dishes on weekends, and since the portions are very big, caused us to take away a lot of leftovers and pay more than we planned. We ordered an appetizer sampler, chicken Pad Thai, Pineapple fried rice with beef and Drunken Noodles with beef. The food was nice, but not extraordinary. Overall, it was OK.

My sister & I ate lunch at Thai & I today. The atmosphere was friendly and bright. The food was delicious and the servings large. I had the pork dumpling appetizer and chicken pad thai. In each case, it was the best I’ve ever had. We will absolutely revisit this restaurant when we’re in town again.

Clean restuarant, exceptionally clear menu (atypical for Thai restuarants), and very reasonable prices (10 to 15 for lunch, and 15 to 20 for dinner). Hours later, my mouth is still watering from the delicious food. Service was great. My wife and I ate the chive pancake for an appetizer; it was usually thick, juicy, and full of flavor. For a main dish, I choose the basil rice– it was decent and had ample portions. My wife ate the cashew stir fry–WOW! The sauce had intense and delightful flavor, lots of vegetables… this dish is a winner. Do to how surprisingly good the appetizer and meal were, we decided to risk a dessert– custard and sticky rice. Also superb! Cool custard over very hot rice, a sweet sauce over the top, and a touch of cinnamon.

Fresh hot and tasty food with even the mildest dishes packing plenty of spice. The food is served fast and fresh but the quality is not universal. My friend’s basil beef was savory and rich while my fried rice was a little bland.

Had a great meal with a pork starter, two soups and beef green curry for main course between two people. Each dish came in a good portion size and a distinct taste and flavor of its own. Did complete justice to Thai food.

Excellent Thai Crab Ragoons. We had two dishes – drunken noodles and Mango currey – both were well done with a strong Thai basil flavor in the drunken noodles. Probably still like Thai Smile 2 in Durham a bit better for the drunken noodles but best Thai crab Ragoons I have had.

The servings are very fairly sized and they don’t skimp on the meat. Pad Thai had loads of shrimp. The Tom Yum soup was delish!
