Worked there in the past and the food is unbelievably good. Especially sausage red beans and rice. Desserts are home made and super delicious, (gotta try the red velvet cake!) Some pics of my coworkers on my last day, great people and I miss them terribly. When in Houston, try Treebeards you won’t be disappointed

The food in general is great here but the Shrimp etoufee is heavenly. Succulent shrimps with fresh and crunchy onions and celery on top of perfectly cooked rice. I’m hungry again. Fast and good service. The best thing is that Treebeards is one of the few places in the tunnels you don’t have to do that obligatory tipping on a screen.

This is by far the best food in the tunnel and easily the best deal as well. I walk to this location at least once per week and have never been disappointed. Everything on the menu is delicious and my go-to meal is red beans and rice with sausage ($3.95). Can’t beat it.

I really like the red beans and rice here. The bread is always good and the slices of chocolate cake are great. This one is downtown so it gets a lot of people but they move the line threw really fast. It has seating inside the restaurant. They have a separate line for picking up orders you called in or made online.
