I ordered take out from here today. I got the meatloaf special. I do have to say everything is seasoned really well and taste delicious. The meatloaf was a little dry but good. The mashed potatoes are chunky and not smooth but they were delicious especially with the gravy. Overall a pretty yummy meal. I’ll be back to try there other stuff! Oh I also got strawberry cake but haven’t tried it yet, it looks tasty though!

We went out of our way to try Mae Mae’s Joint because of another person making fun of the outside on a review. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. The atmosphere is quaint, the service and food good! The prices are reasonable and they are quicker than most fast food places. I would recommend trying it for yourself. Good Country Cooking is Good for the Soul.

I had a great breakfast plate at this lil restaurant. A simple, nondescript building but a really good serving of bacon, hashbrowns and scrambled eggs. Super nice ladies working behind the counter. I got mine to go, and didn’t take 5 minutes. I will be back.
