I fell in love with Tesha’s on my first visit and go there to eat as often as I can. The food is so good, the servings are large, and all of the staff is so friendly. The building is rather old, and from the outside doesnt really look like much but once inside the delicious food absolutely makes up for what it lacks in ambience. Also, their desserts are out of this world and the prices are reasonable. I definitely recommend this place.

Excellent catfish on Fridays! This was my first visit to this place and there is NO COMPLAINTS with the choice. With the catfish, I had mashed potatoes (that needed no gravy), and the best mac and cheese I’ve had in a restaurant / cafe.

I’m not sure how your mother cooked, but eating at Tesha’s is like coming home to a great southern meal. It’s a classic Meat & Three option. There are usually 3-4 Matt entrees to choose from and 5 or more vegetable options to choose from as well. Then grab a cornbread skillet cake or a roll. One of these days I might have enough room to try a dessert after my meal.
