The food and service here is excellent!! Owner and staff were super friendly and down to earth! On our adventures and out of town tryst we look for some good down home food made with love and soul and we definitely found it with this spot!! The decorations, music and mellow atmosphere topped it off!! Be sure to visit this spot when in Harrisburg, PA

The food and service here is excellent. I had the fried wing dinner with Mac and cheese and greens. Hubby had pork chops with mash potatoes and gravy and corn. Sister has this salad that wasn’t even on the menu with crab salad and shrimp. Just plain amazing. Son are all his food. The two sliders and Mac and cheese. I’m telling you. This gem needs more attention. So so so good! Support this black owned business.

While I like my catfish fried with more cornmeal than flour, the catfish was really good. This was better than the fried catfish I had at Paula Dean’s in Myrtle Beach 3 weeks ago. The Collards were the best I’ve eaten in a very long time. Service and atmosphere were above par as well.

While the the name says feed your soul ill gently say that the flavors are feed the trash. I enjoy soul food a ton. With that being said the cheap cheese sauce for the Mac and cheese with the sprinkle of cheese to brown on top. Doesn’t scream soul to me. The pepper steak is ridiculously over priced for what you get. 6 little pieces of steak and more grissel and bone then you can shake a stick at. The greens while they had great flavor and were perfectly cooked the amount of turkey neck bones is high with this. I’m not hating ladies, you asked me for an honest review and I said I’ll be honest. The candied yams are phenomenal along with the potato salad. While I like my fish alittle more flaky it was delicious and had great flavor. The chicken was alittle dry but still had amazing flavor. I’m giving 3 stars for food based on taste and presentation. Subtracted 2 stars because of the bones and Mac and cheese is a staple soul food and it was a hard pass you know u can do better ladies. The huge piece of pineapple upside down cake for 7.99 is delicious. Service you guys have amazing personalities and are fun to joke with. Atmosphere how ever the Louis Vuitton decor is way over done and a tad bit on the 16 year old girls bedroom look.

We wanted some good down home food made with some love and we sure did find it. Tucked back in the corner of a food bonanza strip mall you will find this gem, ran by mama and two other sweeties not only if the food off the hook good, the atmosphere and service is rarely found. Thabk you all for feeding our souls so late and so ❤️

Hands down the best soul food in the city. Might be the best in the world. As far as I’m concerned it is. The service was excellent and the ppl there was very friendly. I had a great experience and I recommend the 222 just so u can get tye chicken and the fish plus two of their homemade sides. Man I can’t wait to go back, today

I’ve been wanting to try this place and I finally did yesterday. It was SO GOOD. It felt like being in your grandma’s kitchen. Between the style of food and how sweet the staff was, we felt right at home. I got the catfish with Mac and cheese, yams and cornbread. HIGHLY recommend the cat fish. The best I’ve had in the area. They ran out of collard greens but that’s okay because it gives me an excuse to come back again soon, not like I need one. I will definitely be coming back again.

So I tried this place out with my mom and aunt and the food was delicious! The problem came in when I paid and look at my receipt……. So I ordered a Loaded fry appetizer which was on the menu for $7.99 it came with chili, sour cream, cheese and chives. They charged me the $7.99 plus $5.99 for the chili and $1.99 for the cheese, sour cream and chives. They also charged us $2.97 for a container to take our food out. 3 drinks were $11.98 plus $.99 for a refill and we dined in! Although the food was excellent and we enjoyed everything the extra charges and paying for a container to take my food out made me not want to go back! I love supporting Black Owned business but come on now.
