We ordered the Big Ave Cheesesteak with Cooper’s Sharp cheese. It is absolutely the best cheesesteak ever!!! It was the combination of the meat, cooper’s sharp cheese and the seeded roll that made it so good. We also ordered the cheese fries which were also delicious. This place is a walk-up and order from the window kind of place. They don’t have indoor seating. They do have picnic tables out front, but most people seemed to order and take it home (or somewhere) to eat. We ate at the picnic tables outside. That set up isn’t my favorite, but the cheesesteak was the best I’ve ever had so I’ll be back!!!

Food was the worst I have ever had in the city of Philadelphia.. y’all when I tell you that they burnt my one slice of pizza and added shredded Parmesan on top. I ain’t going to tell you how my cheese fries were soo over cooked hard as a rock I couldn’t eat them. Whatever you do don’t eat at this place it should be open from the start.

Pricey for the portions they give you. My bill was $58 for 2 pepperoni cheesesteaks,onion petals, 6 Buffalo chicken and fried spicy mozzarella bites. The spicy mozzarella bites were really small but they were good. The cheesesteaks were flavorful but really small also, especially for the price of $17.25 each I expect my sandwich to be nice and hefty. The size was like a half of a steak sandwich that I can wrap my hand around.

I’ve only had the pizza here, nothing bad to say about it, it was thin and crispy, which isn’t my favorite, but it tasted good. Parking sucks. Prices are decent. Fountain soda was good. Ordering on kiosk is convenient. The hours are very convenient. Not a bad spot for lunch.

Our last night in Philly before we move back to NJ and decided to try Avenue Steaks as we heard it pretty good – here to confirm the rumor mill is spot on! Love the outdoor setup and easy parking ….but the food, huge hit! French fries were a golden brown and tasted fresh, perhaps almost a peanut oil taste. We got 2 cheesteaks. Both chopped. Mine was not fatty or had any grizzly chunks as I’ve had lately from other places.

Ordered on Uber Eats – some of the best pizza I’ve had in Philly. I tried the Christian’s homestyle. The crust is perfect and the sauce was super flavorful. Also ordered fries and they came in perfect shape. Absolutely plan to order from here next time I get pizza delivery.

Finally stopped here after going by Oregon Steaks which had a big line so I thought I’d give Avenue Steaks a shot. I orders a Roast Pork with sharp provolone and roasted long hot peppers to go. The girl taking the orders was very friendly and personable which is something you don’t often find. The sandwich was around $12-13 and served on a long roll. I got home a few minutes later and immediately opened it up to eat it.

Ordered a regular chicken cheesesteak, and received the wrong chicken cheesesteak. Also looked like the whole thing was dipped in grease, was literally dripping in it. Gross. Tried calling and was put on hold forever. Terrible experience.
