In 1950, with a $500 loan from his father, Bill Miller opened a small poultry and egg business. Three years later Bill Miller Bar-B-Q began as a small fried chicken-to-go restaurant. Today Bill Miller is a family owned and operated business with 77 locations in the San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi and surrounding areas.

We take pride in cooking all our barbecued meats in pits smoked with 100% live oak wood. We offer a variety of meats such as brisket, sausage, bar-b-q chicken, pork spareribs, turkey and fried chicken. We specialize in the baking of breads and pies made fresh daily. Chicken sandwich is all crust now. All bill miller’s locations have gone downhill with their chicken. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Yall were doing great now the tenders or chicken sandwich is all crust. Highly dissatisfied threw my lunch away and am still hungry but out of time. Food is typical Bill Miller’s, so it was good enough BBQ for when you aren’t being picky. But staff at this location were kinda rude, which killed the atmosphere. Both men’s and women’s restrooms were trashed. This was at about 230 pm, so I understand it was during the afternoon prep for dinner/shift change, but the attitude was definitely not necessary.

All of your restaurants that we visit have really gone down hill in the last couple of years. Laguna madre does a great job. Bill Miller’s pretty much sucks. Is too bad because we really used to like it. We are always hoping that you get better. The orders are always incorrect especially in drive-through. Maybe learn from WataBurger there’s is always correct.
