Enchilada Style Burrito
Say hello to the enchilada-style Burrito. If you didn’t bring a knife and fork, that’s ok. We’ve got one for you. You’ll need it. Sweet Pork Barbacoa
Welcome to the Home of the Original Sweet Pork Barbacoa! It’s quite possible our Sweet Pork could be outlawed for being too addictive. This delightful goodness is slow-simmered for hours in our secret spices until ready to tempt your taste buds. Make sure to stop by and try out this signature taste that made us famous! #TheObsessionIsReal #CafeRio
Creamy Tomatillo Dressing
It’s been said that our Creamy Tomatillo Dressing should be its own food group. Sure it’s great on our salads, but people love them on our tacos, quesadillas, burritos, chips, and even by the spoonful. Our Creamy Tomatillo is made from tomatillos, jalapenos, salsa fresca, cilantro, and a blend of flavor-packed spices. #TheObsessionIsReal #CafeRio
Chips & Queso
We know. Hot melted cheese is totally awesome. But our queso is made even more awesome by our mix of Mexican peppers and spices. Better get extra chips. #TheObsessionIsReal #CafeRio

We absolutely LOVE CAFE RIO! When we lived in Las Vegas and became homeless Cafe Rio in Lake Mead was our home! The staff was so polite and helped us with food. Fast forward 1 year later and we have upgraded to sleeping in our car LOL. This Cafe Rio in Temecula has given us the same help and we are grateful! They gave us a shredded chicken salad bowl and a cheese quesadilla for our 5 year old daughter! You gotta check this cool restaurant out. The quality of the food is great and the prices are decent.

The food was great and full of flavor! The servers are very attentive and know their jobs very well. The food line in quick if you know what you’re going to order before you get in line. I live how you can watch your food being cooked like the tortillas rising. The drinks are unique (my favorites being the mint lemonade and the lemonade with jamaican flowers). I highly recommend that you try this place out! Also, on Tuesdays I believe they have tacos for $1.95 which is a great deal if you ask me.

Their food always smells and tastes fresh especially their tortillas they hand make every morning! The salad with the house dressing is especially my favorite. They also have great military discounts!

I came in at 8:02 to pick up my online order it was not ready and they had me waiting for 30 min. I have my online reciept of what I ordered and it is not what I got. They gave me chicken and lettuce that’s it!!!! That is not a chicken salad you bafoons! They were so eager to close up shop and go have a fun Friday or something you can tell no one wanted to be there I had to remind 3 different people about my order. And it’s not like I was the last customer there was people coming even when I walked out at 8:34 but they had already put everything away since when I walked in at 8:02 like you still got an hour left of business keep the food out! My salad was suppose to have shredded lettuce extra with extra strips, black beans, rice, chicken, guacamole, cilantro, and half and half dressing. What did I get just lettuce hardly any and not shredded with only chicken! Like are you joking rn I’ll be calling too when you open tomorrow I’m going Karen mode which I never do but I spent $16 I want a refund not even free replacement meal especially if people like that are going to make it I’ll take my money to Menifee location. Can’t even get my food right cause y’all too high, lazy, and eager to leave work people like that shouldn’t be working food industry.

Several friends told me what an amazing restaurant they thought this was, but I was disappointed by the menu selections, prices, taste of the food, and cafeteria-style line. I am a vegetarian and the only offerings were some variation of tortilla with cheese. I opted for a vegetarian enchilada thinking it would be an actual enchilada but instead, during the line up, the employee stuck cheese and sauce on a tortilla and heated it for about thirty seconds, threw some green sauce on it (I normally love tomatillo sauce, but this was just awful), and added a meager amount of beans and rice on the side. Also disappointing was that the food is served in the small tin they heat it in. Nothing about the experience or food was appetizing. I paid $32 for our three lunches, no drinks. My advice: go to Rubio’s or Freebird instead where the food is much tastier and, in the case of Rubio’s, there is a much greater selection of bowls, burritos, and tacos for meat eaters and vegetarians.

BOMB!!! It was the first time coming here after a family recommendation and let me tell you it did not disappoint. This location is very spacious! Like seriously. It’s huge. The kitchen is large too and it’s nice to see the process. The food was great quality!! The lettuce was so crisp and fresh! The poco was on point! I ended up getting the Quesadilla with Sweet Pork Barbacoa as my meat. My husband got the Shredded beef. The Sweet Pork Barbacoa is the way to go. You won’t regret it at all!! My husband was so upset with himself he didn’t get the Sweet Pork Barbacoa. I got the habanero salsa, which was not spicy at all. And make sure to get a side of Tomatillo Ranch. It’s bomb on everything!! We had great customer service from Carlos there. He recommended the Sweet Pork Barbacoa and the Keylime pie. He came over to our table and asked if there was anything we needed or if he could take our plates if we were done. Truly. Great experience cause of him. Thanks Carlos!
