The food was really good. Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura were cooked perfectly and sushi boat has good variety and fresh ingredients. Beef was tender enough, and sauce was tasty.

I’ve been multiple times and their food and service were always consistent. One of the best restaurants in Sacramento. It also has a good location with enough parking space even during a weeknight. My go-to sushi place in town.

My preferred sushi place, my friend and I love it, food is fresh, price is fair, not a fancy sushi place but fits my daily routine and more importantly close to my house and convenient location

Can’t go wrong with this long time authentic staple of the community.

Friendly family friendly Japanese restaurant – they have everything at this place: Donburi bowls (meat on top of rice bowl), ramen/Soba Noodles, lunch box specialist, Sashimi and sushi, and traditional Tempura & teriyaki meats. There’s a sushi bar and a big party room in the back with two front projection screens for sports viewing. I enjoyed the art framed in the front seating area. My husband and I both ate sashimi and it tasted great. My brother ordered something with teriyaki sauce smothered all over and mom ordered zaru soba with side of char sui.

Went in on a Monday night. The restaurant wasn’t too busy. When we walked in there were plenty of open tables near the door right before the sushi bar. We were led to our table located in a back seating area. It was quite a surprise. When you walk in it doesn’t look like there is any more seating past the sushi bar. The restaurant has more than enough seating for larger groups.

I got the Teriyaki Salmon with Tempura lunch which came with a Miso Soup and a side of salad as well. The Teriyaki Salmon was super good as well as the Shrimp & Vegetable Tempura! The staff were really nice and welcoming and attended to our needs in a timely manner. The overall atmosphere was warm and lively as there was also a celebration going on too with other groups as well.

Hands down one of the best sushi restaurants I’ve been to in Sacramento area. We got there around 5:45pm on a Wednesday night to a quiet and intimate dinner scene. The wall decor combined with Hoshizoraga Utsuru Umi playing over the speakers.

I was disgusted with the service here. There were 5 of us. And we (my family of 4 and a sweet extended family member). The food was less than mediocre! Other than the Tempura Vegetables which were good and the Miso Soup and the side salad… the Queens Sushi roll tasted like rotten fish; the fish that was in the center looked bad and tasted worse. So my son and grandson could not eat it. The Yakisoba looked and tasted like it was leftover and reheated. We didn’t eat that either. The appetizer was actually good. Agedashi Tofu it was. Good flavor and edible!
