First time at Cava. Have looked at the menu in the past, wasn’t impressed. This time, with the customization options I was able to find something I liked with some minor tweaks. Order was ready when promised and was actually a nice change. Good flavor and texture combinations. Interesting drink selection too. I’ll probably try it again one day.

I invited my brother to join me for lunch at Cava, as he had never been there before. We both decided to order bowls with braised lamb, and I couldn’t resist trying the pita as well. The staff at Cava was excellent; they patiently answered all our questions and provided service with a smile. The ingredients used in our meals were undoubtedly fresh, which made a noticeable difference in taste. If you appreciate Mediterranean cuisine or follow a Mediterranean diet, I highly recommend adding Cava to your list of must-try places.

They’ve been cutting corners continuously for the last year. Portions have become pathetic and they started throwing the dressing into the mix rather than in cups.

Staff is not very friendly and they’re not great at proportions. They skimp on meat and rice, but then you ask for a little bit of cheese or other topping and they add a ton. Fairfax location is far superior, they actually give you a full bowl. Reston you’re lucky to get half a bowl.

It’s not a restaurant, but you can dine in. It’s more of a chipotle kind of setting. The servers have always been friendly, the food is always great tasting and fresh. I would advise that you download the app to order ahead. It’s not that there’s crowds, but there can be a little wait. I also like to go full custom with my meals and just find it easier that way. They have one kid meal but my 5 year old is cool with it. The meals aren’t too big but they do hit the spot!

Food is always good, tasty, fresh and filling. Some of their staff give really excellent service…I have a child with severe allergies, who loves Cava, and they always wash their hands, put fresh gloves on and are considerate of their allergies. Special mention to Brian M, who has served us a few times and is incredibly helpful and polite – nothing too much trouble. For an environment where it’s not tip-driven, this is all the more commendable, as he really represents their brand well.

I was stuck at a hotel and ordered a salad delivery through the cava app. Salad arrived and was 100% wrong. I tried for an hour to call to ask for a re-delivery of the salad I ordered and no one answered. So, was stuck with a salad that had things in it that I didn’t even know what the items were and couldn’t eat it. Terrible experience. If you are in the Reston area, I suggest you don’t order anything delivered through Cava because if it’s wrong, there will be no one answering the phone to help you and you will still be hungry.

Good, healthy food at a reasonable price. This was my 2nd time at Cava, the first time with my wife. She’s very familiar. While portions were down as we remembered, we both had plenty. She had enough for lunch the next day.

Family member placed a online order and we had gotten two large fountain sodas but they did not have sodas…asked if we could return just the drinks the first employee I talked to could not even hear me even though I was practically yelling and just to go talk to another employee finding out that you cannot return drinks (understandable but its basically false advertising). The Strawberry Citrus drink which we ended up getting did not taste good and the food tasted horrible I wanted spicy falafels in my bowl and they were NOT spicy and the bowl was not full it was about half full which they do not do, same family member had CAVA from the tysons location and they had full bowls and food was good. RESTON CAVA IS NOT GOOD. It made my stomach hurt and I felt like throwing up
