I never heard of pasties until last week, during my first time in Michigan. Found Superior Pasties and came in for an educational dining experience. I’m so sorry I forgot the name of the owner. But he patiently explained to me the correct pronunciation of pasties, not pasties that dancers wear, hahaha

I winged it coming here for a large order. I was not disappointed. The pasties were excellent and everything was perfect. I definitely recommend you call ahead of your looking for a large order like I was. I got the jumbo pasties for my guys and there was plenty of food. I never got to try the chicken and broccoli but I was told it too was, “off the chain”. Great food, great price. Apparently this guy is hiring. You should check it out.

I can’t say that I’m impressed. The pasties are ok, I got traditional ones. The flavor seems bland compared to others in the metro Detroit area. The beef seems to have been in patty form at one point. The staff was very friendly and I’m happy to try a local business instead of fast food. I don’t know that I would go out of my way to return. I would recommend increasing the product quality. I for one would be happy to pay more for better quality and flavor.

I just came from here and I’m not sure of the owner’s name but he made my day in the way he interacted with me. I was quite anxious to go in, but he had me smiling within seconds; I haven’t even tried the pasties yet as I’m still in my car but there’s no way he makes bad pasties.

Almost forgot this place was around. Sure glad we remembered it. We had a couple of each kind for dinner. They hit the spot. My step dad was Finish, rest his soul. He would have loved the Pasty made here. Great comfort food. The owner is great.

We stopped here and were very happy we did. The owner’s are very friendly, you can see, and smell the pasties being made. They were hot and fresh. We ordered a Shepherd’s Pie Pastie and split it just to test things. It was amazingly delicious. We landed up taking six to bring back to Florida with us.
