By far the best lunch on Main Street! Leon’s had super tasty food and the wait and cook staff were super nice and helpful. It was fun to watch the grill master cook the food in front of us. Food was well priced. Places to sit at the bar and in some booths

Food had no taste. We ordered a tuna melt and a regular cheeseburger. Two orders of fries. No seasoning on anything. Service was marginal. Our food sat on the counter for a few minutes while our server was nowhere to be found . This was our first trip to Mt airy and we will not be back to this location.

The food was good and reasonably priced, especially considering the location. I’d definitely be willing to try this place again next time I’m in Mt Airy. One warning is they’re cash or check only. They actually have an ATM in the restaurant, so if you’re unprepared you’ll likely be paying an ATM fee. Luckily I had cash but I imagine many tourists will get caught. This is also true at Opie’s Candy Store. So bring cash to Mt Airy.

Stopped by for brunch. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. I ordered the double California burger with a runny fried egg and a hot dog with chili, mustard, and onion. The burger was perfectly cooked. Perfect amount of grease and the burger itself was amazing. The hot dog was great as well, the chili was good, the bun tasted grilled a little, but overall I’d order it again.

Located in bustling (if touristy) downtown Mount Airy, Leon’s Burger Express serves a very good burger. Cooked fresh and prepped with care, the burger had a very good flavor. The fries were fine and the sweet tea was excellent. A friendly staff and cute interior decor complement the good food to make this a solid 4 star joint.

You’ll meet the friendliest people at Leon’s Burger Express. It’s a cash only joint but fear not there’s an ATM in the back . The food is very reasonably priced and super tasty. It’s the perfect place for a person like me, looking to eat home cooking on a budget. I can head in around noon and with 20$ or so and eat a large enough meal to fill me up all day. Leon’s provides a warm atmosphere from the staff to the diner decor. An excellent place to eat and you shouldn’t pass it up if you’re visiting town for the weekend or a holiday. My dad said he’d had the “best omelette he’d ever eaten there”. I’m a fan of the chili dogs, home fries, and Mac and cheese. The pancakes are absolutely huge. They barely fit on the plate. Waffles are great too. Happy dining everyone.
