I ordered a 16 inch Stuffed pizza that my wife was going to pick up since she was close by. I specified Stuffed more than once on the call. My wife gets home and they gave us a 16 inch thin crust pizza!?!? I call them back and ask what’s going on, and the person on the phone says that he “Assumed it was thin crust”. How can you ASSUME anything when you’re specifically TOLD something!?!?!

Came in today for lunch pizza. I just started working around the corner. Got a Sicilian style and I was blown away. The pizza was fantastic! The restaurant was clean and well lit, and the gentleman behind the counter was friendly. I can’t wait to try the pan pizza and chicken.

Highly recommend the Sicilian style pizza, slightly thicker crust generous toppings excellent pizza. Their fried chicken is also great. They also have other sandwiches which I understand from my sister are quite good. The owner TED is a great guy and will take good care of you.

We had a break between games at AthletiCo and decided to try one of the local restaurants for lunch. We decided on Mario’s because my son loves pizza. Mario’s did not disappoint. We ended up getting a total of three pizzas and they were all delicious. Fresh ingredients and cooked just right. The crust is beautiful. My other son and I each also had a cheeseburger which were also fantastic. Clean and a nice decor. We had a nice chat with the owner who was very friendly. Highly recommended!

We ordered catering for my daughters 1st birthday party yesterday. The whole experience was great. Everyone I talked to were really helpful and very nice. The food was great and very reasonably priced. I would recommend Mario’s to anyone, if we have another event in Northbrook they will be my first call. Thank y’all again so much, you made everything easy and took a huge burden off of us and that is to us was priceless.

Very nice people working here, however do not order the Cuban sandwich. A Cuban sandwich is ham and some sort of white cheese (i in not Cuban, but consider myself an expert eater of these most yummy ssmmiches. And this was definitely not it!)mashed pretty flat on some very chewy white bread. This “Cuban ” sandwich was beef, with some horrible pickle slices and dry as hell.. thankfully I ordered a pizza puff as a backup, in case this Cuban sandwich sucked. I usually do not order any Cuban sandwiches unless I’m in miami! I did not try their Pizza but from what I could see from the counter, it did not look like it would be stellar, but enough to make you feel satiated. Thank you to the owner for responding to my review. I have to disagree with you a Cuban sandwich is made almost like a ham type of meat. and a type of bread that is almost smashed flat. When I would go to Tampa Florida every year I would pack a whole suitcase of them to bring them back to chicago. And they called them Cubano sandwich. Perhaps my Cuban friends in Tampa Florida are from some other part of Cuba that doesn’t include how your sandwiches are made. Other than that you have a really good looking pizza man back there
