Driving though from central coast and stopped here for a quick bite. Pleasantly surprised at how clean the restaurant is, cashier was nice, but the best was…. The Al Pastor tacos with Caramelized onions. Ordered a carne sada burrito that came with a generous portion of asada that was wrapped perfectly. Sides of radish and raw onions. Kids are already asking to come back next time we drive through for the horchata and tacos.

Mr. Taco provides an excellent experience from placing orders via telephone call and/or placing your food order at the restaurant itself with minimal wait time. Oh my God. Their tripas and carnitas are the best. Carnitas maybe better than super tacos. Which is saying something, carnitas are life and this place has the fountain of youth. It is worth the drive. Then you can mix the meats on tortas and burritos. I’m telling you though. Take the drive and see for yourself. Take it from a fat Mexican. These tacos and burritos are bomb!

This is an Arvin institution. Unlike a lot of places that let you order ahead, the food is actually ready when you get there. I’m serious! You just get there, tell them you ordered over the phone, pay and you’re out of there. Yes, the food is great too.
