Recently discovered this place it’s tucked away in Alamance Crossing behind the Discount Tire place. This is a great place to sit down and enjoy delicious Chinese food. The atmosphere is quiet for a restaurant and the staff is very friendly. The portions are generous. I like the chicken and broccoli, vegetable lo mein, general tso chicken, sweet and sour chicken, hunan chicken, eggs rolls and Buffalo wings. They have lunch and dinner specials. Pepsi products and sweet tea. What I’m most impressed with is their donuts normally Chinese Restaurants serve donuts that are hard as a rock but the donuts here are soft and delightful 10 come in an order so you might need to bring a friend to share them with!

Tasted like some sort of chemical in the food… Not sure what it was but food tasted odd. Also parts of the chicken was undercooked with very little meat (more breading than meat) so I couldn’t even finish eating it. Good things-Decent portion sizes and fast service. But what’s the point if the food is bad. Food quality has gotten worse over the last few months. I’ve tried this place several times- no better. Will unfortunately have to take my business somewhere else.

Ordered the chicken and shrimp hibachi and an egg roll through door dash. Huge plate, a large amount of rice, veggies and chicken but only got 3 shrimps. My egg roll never made it to the house. Tastes great, can’t speak on the egg roll tho.

The food is GREAT at Peking House in Burlington! I had the Black Pepper Chicken mixed with chicken fried rice, and couldn’t have expected anything better. The prices are some of the best around. Also, the establishment is kept so clean and organized, and the service is extremely friendly. If you are a repeat customer, they remember you and have nice conversations to get to know you better. You can tell the owners truly care about their store and their guests. I highly recommend Peking House. If you are going anywhere else, you are shortchanging yourself.
