Tried this place for the first time last night and was incredibly impressed. We have tried several local Mexican places looking for one to call home and they all have been rather mediocre. Pedro’s was anything but. The food, service, everything was 10/10. We will definitely be back. There’s plenty of vegetarian options and the portion sizes are bigger than we expected. The sweet tea was fantastic. Can’t wait to bring some friends here!

I went in for a quick dinner after a whole day of hiking. They were the only Mexican restaurant really open at 8:50 PM, so I was really glad. I came in on a busy night, it seemed like because it took quite a bit for the server to take my drink order, and to come back to take my food order. The chips and salsa were really good. I had the carnitas, which was good. The portion was smaller than I expected, but I was really hungry (I began to eat before I started taking pics!). The prices were ok.

I finally found a Mexican restaurant in McDonough that got the steak right! The flavors and seasonings were on point! Delicious . I liked the chips: they were light and fresh. The mild salsa was great. The hot (I’m assuming it was their hot, but I didn’t ask) wasn’t hot at all, but then again I tend to like nuke when it comes to hot salsa . The rice and beans were descent. They could have had a little more seasoning for my tastes. A packet of Sazon added to my left overs (I ate all the chips n salsa ) and BAM an instant hit. They have quite a few lunch specials. I’ll definitely return because I’m looking forward to trying a few more of their menu items.

I have never met a Taco shack that I didn’t like until I ate at Pedro’s. I’ve given them so many (too many) chances because I want them to be good. They failed me each time. They cater to Americans. Their food is not authentic. However, the staff is nice. They are 1/2 step above Taco Bell.

I come here when my other favorite Mexican joint is closed. I have always had great service and the food is always good. I hate that people like Derek (1 star guy) made a complete false claim on this business just to get attention. Ignore the negative posts and try this place out. Remember no one is perfect and mistakes happen.
