Food was timely, tasty and tender! Both the chicken and pork were cooked well, and the uniquely shaped fries were fun. Cozy atmosphere with friendly service.

It was our first time eating there today. We had a To-Go order. Let me first say I am a little biased due to the fact that I have been smoking meets for sometime now and you learn how to make them the way you like them. That being said we ordered the catfish, an appetizer special, a pound of mac and cheese, and the pit masters pick (i got ribs, pulled pork, and brisket). We will start off with the best, the catfish was fantastic. Also the coleslaw, Mac and cheese, wild hog bites, wings and sauces were good however it went a little down hill from there. I wouldn’t say any of the rest of it was bad but I could make it better myself. Like I said before I’m a little biased so you might want to form your own opinion on some of the BBQ. The restaurant seemed nice and clean when I went in and the staff was very friendly. Overall I would say its worth a visit.

We were a party of 7. The food was not great. They overcooked the outside of all the meats ordered and left inside raw. My fish was dry. Macaroni was smashed onto plate and one congealed blob that was bland. The fries were the only saving grace . They forgot to bring things like lemon wedges. They kept bringing water in a timely manner. The place seemed very clean.

Great food. I had the pulled chicken sandwich and it was a very generous portion, I couldn’t finish my fries. Nice, cozy dining area and friendly staff. Would be nice to have beer on the menu but no big deal.

Came in here today and not only was the atmosphere friendly and cozy but the workers and owner were very friendly. The owner even walked up and talked to us like we had known each other for years. The food was brought out in a quick manner and the quality was out of this world. The pricing isnt to bad either. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Waited 20 mins just to get a drink ordered. Finally got it, food came quick. Pulled pork was alright but didn’t need extra seasoning, Mac and cheese tasted like water, Texas today tasted like cardboard and fries were soggy. The only good thing was the starter of loaded fries. Won’t be coming back to this place.

I heard this was a good BBQ joint and decided to try it on my way to painesville. I had the Loaded nachos with pork and I was impressed you could taste the smokey bbq flavor of the meat! Definatly will be back. For the main course I had a brisket sandwich and this is definatly a great place to eat!

Stopped on our way to Tennessee. Cute and really good food. The fries are phenomenal. My favorite sauce with the pulled pork was the sweet and tangy… Nom. Recommend!

When in Louisa Kentucky you’ve got to go and have a meal here! Everything is prepared to order, so you might have to wait a little but it’s well worth it! The food is delicious and the staff are very friendly and accommodation. Also, they make all the deserts right there! Yummy!! 🙂
