Fuji is my ABSOLUTE favorite comfort restaurant. The portions here are incredible, and the food is just so comforting to eat. I’ve been coming here for years! The shrimp sauce is wonderful as well. The service here is great- the food comes out two seconds after you order it, and the servers are very kind and accommodating. I love it here! I recommend the steak and shrimp with tons of shrimp sauce!

The food was fresh and fast. Quantity was pretty decent compared to the price, which I think is a little high. Service was good, the server was friendly. I ordered the chicken and shrimp combo, the chicken was a little too dry for me. Also, in my opinion, the sweet carrot doesn’t go with it. If you are looking around for a Japanese restaurant, look up Mikata Japanese Grill on Hardin Valley. They have almost the same menu but better quantity and price.

I used to go here once or twice a week. The dine in food was always great. Since they closed the dining room, I have given it 3 tries and the food just isn’t as good 5 or 10 minutes (or more) later by the time you get back to the office or somewhere to eat it. Definitely best fresh from the kitchen. Won’t be going back until they open the dining room.

Okay…I’ll be honest, I have lived here for 14 years, and had never tried Fuji until a close friend recommended it. WOW! It reminds me of a typical Japanese steakhouse that you go into, and watch them cook it for you..but….it’s drive thru! You must try it!
