So disappointed in Cinco and doubt I’ll ever go back. Took my husband for Father’s Day and it was a 75+ rip off. Especially when you’re dining out for a special day! Service was extremely slow despite the restaurant being nearly empty at 4:00 pm. My husbands food was not fit to eat. We asked for the manager but was informed they left but would be back in a few hours? We asked the cashier to remove my husband’s food as he couldn’t eat it. Cashier did and said we’re removing anything that is complained about since we don’t have a manager here. The restaurant should close until the manager can be there. Sad as this was our go to place close to home. Over the year we’ve spent $70+ once a month. That’s $700 that I can spend at a different restaurant. Not wasting my money again in the event there’s no manager. Very Disappointed!

Drove a long way from Chicago and found a good spot. You want authentic Mexican food, then this is the spot. Service was good. Always checking to make sure everything was ok. Micheladas hit the spot for a hot day. Ordered enchilada dinner and also tilapia with shrimp dinner. It worked. Family friendly

Table salsa was literally canned diced tomatoes. The “spicy” salsa (it wasn’t spicy in the least) was a can of Rotel with cilantro mixed in, but nothing else. Both versions tasted bad. I ordered a medium frozen peach margarita, which arrived half melted, and I’m not even sure there was any alcohol in it at all. I drank it three or four times faster than normal to see if I could provoke any sort of effect, and got nothing whatsoever (even up to an hour later). The burrito I ordered was overpriced–it was the same ingredients as a Texas fajita plate, but about half the quantity for a higher price.

Got the mango rum cream frozen drink. One shot of liquor, the rest sweet syrup. The taco salad was good! Service was good!

Went here for Mother’s Day. Very clean restaurant. Waitress was very prompt. Ordered the food. Shared the fajitas for two. Unfortunately, they were absolutely tasteless. Also, we probably got 8 green pepers, two onions, and 1 red pepper. There are very few slivers of meat. It’s not worth it. 30 dollars, basically for vegetables. Had to put most of the green peper on another plate because it was piled so high. There is no seasoning on what little meat was there. Very disappointing.

We eat here in large groups a lot, and they always serve us quickly and the food is always good. It is definitely more authentic, not so much Tex Mex I feel like they are more of a true Mexican restaurant. Lots of options to choose from.

Brand new… Super clean.. nice decor. Enjoyed the one in Moncks Corner, so happy to try the new location. Typical Mexican food for this area, but still good. Two salsa’s. Spicy and regular.

We went Friday night, and they surprisingly werent busy, the food was actually pretty good, and the others with us really enjoyed the drinks, but the server was not good… we were left with empty drinks, wrong alcoholic beverages, and she just wasn’t good, but I don’t think she told us a name.

The wait staff is always nice and the food comes out fast. This is the closest to a fast food restaurant that a sit-down restaurant can get. I have been eating at Cinco de Mayo for 10 years, and in my opinion, it’s one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area.
