Quite possibly the worst “deli” sandwich I have ever eaten. The kitchen had bread and condiments strewn across the counters. The eggs were over cooked and rushed. They threw my sandwich in the microwave with the guacamole on it to melt the processed cheese. The generic white bread was moosh and flavorless. If I could take away stars I would.

The menu looked awesome. I went for a sandwich and was told new ownership/new menu. I ordered from the new menu and watched the (very very nice young lady) make a sandwich with cheap bread and slimy deli meat. Took two bites and threw the rest away.

I’ve been working down the street and stopped in for a sandwich and omg I’ve been back every day for more. The sandwiches are huge and very good. I’ve had the #30 which is tuna salad with cucumbers, bacon, lettuce and tomato and today I had #11 chicken salad with bacon, lettuce and tomato. They make very good breakfast sandwiches also. The people in there are awesome and make you feel at home. If you haven’t tried this place I highly recommend you do this place is great. I will be eating here everyday while I’m working in the area.

My sandwich was LIT. Can’t believe I’ve been down here in so Flo for 6 years and haven’t been here. It reminds of all the authentic sandwich shops back home in mass. And GOOD bread. Good meat to veggie ratio. Highly recommend. They have a VERY long list of unique sandwiches. Take a look at the menu before you go. My new FAV spot. Sorry for the half eaten sandwich pic, but it was too good to not photograph!

Sad what this has become. This used to be the best place east for sandwiches. The new owners have gotten rid of the menu and offer 6 subs. The original owner (was it Richie?) ran an incredible place. Don’t bother coming here unless you just need a drink from a cooler. Glorified gas station now.

Used to be one of the best sandwich shops. But no longer. Still fine to grab beers and snacks but the deli which imo was the reason to go is no good. Didn’t even make my order right and a far cry from the previous deli crew.

I haven’t been there yet under their new management, but based on the local response, I will not be wasting my time. I too was a local that enjoyed days off grabbing a sub & drink from here and eating it at a nearby beach. I haven’t been there in years because I moved to Gainesville to go to UF. Disappointed I didn’t get to enjoy it one more time before new management came and ruined it. I MIGHT change my mind and give them a fair chance to change my mind, but based on the pictures people have posted recently, it’s highly unlikely they’ll be successful in doing so. I trust my fellow locals.

I guess these owners went the way of the people who sold out by the ocean and someone built that out of place huge wannabe castle looking condo building that looks ridiculous in the neighborhood. I think I’ve been in Seaside Deli two times over the past 10 years but I remember it being VERY local and VERY old school. Last night at 8:56 the guy working there YELLED at me when I walked in “We’re closing at 9!” The hours on Google are until 10. They close at 9 now, folks. Locals really need to participate more in their local government and know what’s going on!

The new manager here is great! I had a wonderful breakfast sandwich which was Indian Cuisine. I love Bangladeshi culture and so proud to have a Indian restaurant in our neighborhood. Soon will have cigarettes EBT and lottery! Open till 10 pm. They are very friendly and I hope to go to the beach more often now Seaside Deli is there.
