We had the opportunity to try Gigi and Big R’s food truck at a street festival in Philly. It was good. The fish sandwich was multiple pieces of fried fish on a bed of bread. The fish was well made. My wife had the stewed chicken platter with rice and beans and Mac and cheese. The platter was very good! There were well over a thousand people at the festival and the line still moved at a brisk place which was impressive. We would hit the truck again.

Mac and not real cheese, greens were ok and fish had no seasoning on it. This was always a go to in my hood but they definitely fell off.

I ordered the Platter “Jerk Chicken” comes with 2 sides (fries & cabbage). Chicken was really soft and flavored with the sauce, but their sides were okay. The portion size was definitely worth the money, but will not order it again since there will be better options to choose with better sides.

I use to love to eat from their truck when it was on 30th and Market… Now they are trash Mac Horrible Fish not seasoned chicken dry greens bland service is worst then the food… My company ordered for Juneteenth…. They charged us 200 for a bunch of $5 platters…. I will never ever again give them any business and I won’t be sending anyone to them either

The service was good nice n friendly but the fish I got I had to refry it with seasoning. I’m not saying that the other foods provided aren’t good but fish had no taste it could’ve been that way because some people can’t have salt or seasoning.

So I just left the store. Have been getting fried fish for years. This will be my final time. The price of the sandwiches have gone up but as u can see you are not getting full peices anymore. This is equivalent to two frozen prices of bagged whiting that they are selling for 9 dollars….Let me know when you stop stealing peoples money and give out full peices again! Then and only then will I be back…….

$20 for pepper steak and u give me a platter full of white rice. I asked for rice to be on the side. I only got a few pieces of steak in my eyes the platter should be full for the price. And the Mac and cheese is corny. I jus feel like they getting over ctfu they got it doe. Never again
