I ate here two years ago and then again yesterday. Neither time was great. I gave it a second chance because it was one of the closest restaurants to the Quincy Center Stop but I was rather disappointed. The service was fine, though I am not a big fan of small styrofoam cups. They could easily help the environment with some glass or metal cups. The Chinese soda was good and well-priced at $1.50/can. Moreover, the dumplings were fine. They were taken out of a package to be steamed, but that happens more often than not. One should not expect house-made dumplings. If you get the veggie ones, make sure you like spinach. What sullied the experience was two things: 1) the annoying kid playing computer games on his Ipad and talking trash online; he was the only other patron 2) the pork-belly sticky rice. For me it’s hard to get pork belly wrong. I don’t know, for instance, if I’ve ever had a bad slice of bacon. However, this appetizeresque thing, this pork belly wrapped in sticky rice was less than satisfying. The pork was completely dried out and was obviously precooked. It was a fair-priced dish and would have been well-priced if it were any good.

Ordered ahead as we were coming from afar. Food was cold and had sat the whole time. Service equally cold. Pork had a microwaved/chewy texture and was inedible

What a fabulous new place! A new favorite! A streamlined and simple menu but, man, how wonderful the choices were. My friend and I had tea—mine had little dried roses in it! Then we had a cucumber salad, I opted to not have jellyfish with mine. The cucumber salad was really delicious. We also had pan-seared veggie dumplings. Those could have stood a more definitive flavor but we’re good. The dan dan noodles with pork and chives oil? I am in love! We also had some very flavorful pork and chives hand rolled wontons. The prices, especially for hand made food, were so reasonable! I will certainly return!!!

Very warm and cute place. The service was very fast on getting the order and the waitress was very nice. The place clean and nice to just sit and have a nice conversation. No loud music and we didn’t feel they were rushing us either. And of course the food was very delicious very savory. I would recommend this place and will come back soon!

Place is kinda cute, but the food was just okay. Price is average but nothing really stand out. Service is good, the server is nice. We will come back couple months later see if the food improved.

Okay place. Service was good. Came in on a particularly cold day for some soup to warm me up. It was just okay.

Ordered a beef dumpling, wonton soup, mushroom noodles, scallion pancake and a fermented rice dessert. Beef dumpling was flavorful and juicy. The wonton soup was a big disappointment in terms of size. The filling and skin is so small that you can’t even taste it. The soup was very salty. The noodles in the mushroom soup was good but the soup was just salty. The scallion pancake was very small and weak in terms of taste. The dessert was the most decent offering out of all the food we ordered. We were the only customers on a weekend night, which is not a good sign.
