Stopped here at 330p Sat 4/22. Open light was on, but none of the other store front lights. I entered the nearly empty restaurant, there was a customer standing at the counter with take out waiting to pay for his food. Who knows how long he had been standing there, but it must have been a while. I heard yelling in the back in a foreign language I assume was Asian. Soon, still yelling, the hostess made her way to the front, followed by 3 young children and a young lady whom seemed to be the target of the hostess’ tirade. Between berating of the young lady, the hostess attempted to cash out the man who was trying to pay for his take out. Eventually, the young lady walked out, followed by more cursing by the hostess who had no qualms about behaving badly in front of all the customers. To be sure everyone (including the young children who all stayed with the hostess) understood she wasn’t happy, she switched to cursing in English (FU) for good measure. It was at that point I walked out. I would recommend anyone seeking a peaceful, family friendly meal, go somewhere else until this hostess is removed.

Went to go in for dinner and sadly the food looked like it had been sitting out for hours. The place was completely empty at 7pm. My family was so disappointed we ended up settling for the Mexican restaurant next door which wasn’t much better…

Barn Boys
We were in town for the night. We decided to try this place because my kids love Chinese buffets. We entered around 4:30. No one else was there (that should have been a sign in itself). We were pointed on where to sit. The people who worked there rushed to the line and scooped out all the steamed rice but that’s ok they left the hard what looked like day old rice there. There was very little food left in the trays at the buffet and what was there looked like it was from last nights dinner. We waited a whole 45 min just for steamed rice and egg rolls as there were none at the buffet. When we asked they said it’s coming out now. None of them looked like they were worried about it as they were sitting at their own table enjoying their own meals. In the end we ended up eating very little (still zero steamed rice) and what we did have looked just aweful. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. I usually try a place 3 times before I give up but once was enough. It was $50 some dollars for 2 small kids and 2 adults for no food at the buffet.

One of my favorite Chinese places in the Midwest! Prices are pretty good! The food is incredible. My favorite is the black pepper chicken, lo mein, fried rice and the sugar donuts. Whenever my parents and I would get food to go, it wouldn’t take very long even if they were busy. Longest we have had to wait was 20 minutes. The food would always come out hot and fresh. We would order enough to have leftovers the next day. Worth looking into if you haven’t tried this place yet!

A lot of the items on the buffet were gone when we arrived around 7:00, and they weren’t really making any effort to fill them up. What was there was good, but some of it could have been a little warmer. It was not as good as it normally is when we go, so for the most part it was disappointing, considering we still payed the amount that they normally charge. Hopefully the next time we will have a better experience.

Spent the last two days puking and well you know…. Guess I shouldn’t have asked for the sweet and sour soup. There were no soups cups to have any so I got some to go. Big Mistake also the quality of food has went down in the last 6 month’s really bad and they charge more. It was 58 dollars for 3 adults and one child 68 with the soup to take home. Yup a ten dollar soup. Probably wont ever go back. I can put up with some things but food poisoning is not one.
