Went on Saturday and had a great time. They regularly have really good live music, and I really appreciate that.

Music was great, the environment was lively but the service was slow. The food was ok but some dishes lacked flavor.

The service was great. The salmon was tasty. The wings need to be seasoned but the salad was good.

I hate giving bad reviews, but I’m afraid I have to this time. The food was good (not great, but good), the drinks were good too (although really, I expected more exotic whiskeys), But our service was terrible.

Ok hear me out, I had high hopes for this place. But the food wasn’t good. Now please understand that this review has nothing to do with the wait staff. As they looked super over worked, but this place is not a place to go for food. This is a jazz and mature adult hang out which is why I gave it 2 stars. This place was packed with older adults who were hanging out listening to music and having drinks. Which was dope as there are not many spots in East Liberty for the older crowd. They should shrink the menu to drinks and bar food. And let the older crowd chill and enjoy.

Ordered a burger was brought a Turkey Ruben, waited for the server to return as others in my party ate. After 20 minutes passed, I decided to eat it. After I finished 2/3 of the meal our server (Danny) returned. I asked him if her remembered that I ordered a burger. He said yes and assured me that he would get me the burger. He then returned and stated that my burger was almost finished and that his manager wanted to make sure I wanted it. I reassured him that I wanted it. He then brought me the burger and the check. After looking at the check I noticed that I was charged for both the Ruben and the burger.after complaining he removed the Burger (which I returned without taking a bite). After leaving upset, I noticed that the manager never took the time to meet us, check on us or even approach us. I then went to the bar and asked for the name of the manager (Justine). The men at the bar were nice and understanding but it i did not desire another drink, there for I left and went to another establishment. I live in the area, this was my first time eating here and will be my last.

The atmosphere and the live jazz music was great. Unfortunately, the food did not match the environment. My cod fish was slimy and undercooked, and the veggies were scorched. I could only stomach a few bites before I sent it back. I ordered a cheesecake afterwards thinking that it would be harder to mess that up but I was wrong. The cheesecake was obviously from a box and was falling a part. I think they should revamp the menu and perhaps hire a new chef so that the food matches the wonderful venue.

Best jazz in Pittsburgh, excellent drink selection, very comfortable scene. Only downside is the lounge service. The place is always busy but servers always seem surprised so drinks stay empty for half an hour. Plan accordingly if you are thirsty but definitely check out the jazz open mic it’s the best show in town.
