Last night my boyfriend and I were hungry after a comedy show that ended pretty late. Seeing this place was around the corner and still open, we gave it a try! We did have to wait a little while due to short staffing- which we totally understand! Everyone let me tell you, the wait was worth it! The fries we got in the combo were crispy, the dogs were filling and delicious. I got the Chili Mac Char Dog, totally recommend! I love how they used a hoagie roll for the bun so when you took a bite it wouldn’t fall apart. Yeah the down fall is there’s a bit of a wait when receiving food but at the end patients is key and was totally worth it! Give this place a try! Also, great job to the older gentleman that worked Monday night!

Went in 5 pm on Friday. Yes there was only one guy taking orders and making food. Yes, it was cold in the place. Yes it took 25 minutes to get 1 burger, 2 Chicago dogs and a large fry. Yes, he forgot the Slurpies.

This small, fast-casual restaurant with a seemingly simple concept has HUGE flavor. My boyfriend and I both ordered a Chicago Style Char Dog, which the owner/chef Andy highly recommended to us. Mine was the vegetarian version, which uses Field Roast brand vegan meats, and because the Chicago dogs are smaller, I ordered a “double dog” meaning two dogs in one bun. I also opted in for the brioche bun rather than the vegan bun, which is smaller. I’m glad I was hungry because that was the longest hot dog bun I’ve ever seen.

Restaurant was short-staffed when we went in, but the people working made up for it by being so kind and wonderful. None of that to mention the incredible food. I had a vegan chili dog with vegan chili on top. It was the best hot dog I’ve ever had. The included fries were also dyn-o-mite.

Great food, experience, and atmosphere. The man working was kind to my son and I. You want a cool place with great food, stop here and buy small local.

Visiting from Chicago and absolutely LOVED your burgers and dogs! So delicious! The kids and us adults just enjoyed it so much. The worker was awesome and so kind! Wish I grabbed his name. And we even got to try the soup! Sooo good! Can’t wait to visit again!

The owner was cooking all alone on a busy Saturday night. Even at 10pm, he was taking orders, cooking, greeting and serving everyone with a smile on his face. It was honestly the best customer service I’ve had in awhile. The food was so good, we’ll definitely be back to try everything on the menu. Send this family your business – they 100000% deserve it.

i don’t know where the 5 star reviews are coming from, my stomach is now twisted and i’m sick… my birria sandwich came dry as a bone and the consome looks/tastes like au jus with jalapeño. my zarate Italian sausage was so raw. My drink was wrong.. i’m very disappointed and frustrated with the quality of this food and the price. not worth it. PLEASE DO NOT CONSUME, IT IS NOT SAFE.

I’m always on the lookout for Vegan Hot Dogs so we were pleasantly surprised to see Louie’s had a great menu of vegan items. The owner is very aware of vegan needs and conscientious enough to ask about preferences even down to the buns. Much appreciated! He gave us some samples of their vegan cheese (it was so good you CANNOT tell it from the real thing) and their chili (made with crumbles and corn, not my taste, a bit too salty and I don’t like corn in my chili, but still it was better than OK). The seasoned fries were so good, I didn’t need to put any ketchup on them to make them better. We ordered the carrot dog and a Chicago style vegan dog. A+++ Better than Dogg Haus’ used to be before they switched to a worse brand of veggie dog, so that’s saying a lot because Dogg Haus’ used to be EXCELLENT on the veggie dog scale and now they’re sub-par. So food-wise, this place is a winner for vegans. However, one snag you should be aware of that they haven’t fixed yet is online ordering. We ordered using the app and it told us our wait would be 45 minutes. We took a chance they’d have it done early so we drove right over. They never received the order to begin with. Or it didn’t print out, so they were unaware it had come in. Luckily for us, there were no other customers, so they began our order immediately. While we waited, we chatted with the owner (and his wife) and he gave us a load of information about the place and its menu. Very nice, friendly guy. Talk to him if you get the chance and get the low-down on his experience as a restaurateur and vegan/vegetarian-consciousness. He mentioned his food is best eaten asap, but when we got home it was still warm and super delicious. It might taste better had we eaten it right after it was served, but I can’t imagine how since it was really, really dang good. I definitely want to go back again and again and try every single vegan thing on the menu.

Lived in five states, its not easy to find somewhere like this place. Andy is a professional chef and its just incomparable how he plays with the tastes and material for a unique experience. Their Chicago style hot dogs are delicious, same as their steak sandwiches and burgers. Best burgers with best meat and just about $10. Highly recommend this place!
