Huge Disappointment. Anyone who thinks they represent what Cali burritos is wrong. Fries and guacamole should be on the inside. Plus there should be a nice texture difference within the burrito. This was just all mush and Bland. Yes the portions are large but it’s a glorified drunken food. Quesadilla was slim with very little cheese. Friendly Staff. Decor was Ok. Decent Front patio. Overall just disappointed in the experience.

today, my husband & i FINALLY got to try this spot out & OMG! they did NOT disappoint! i ordered the burrito Razorback & my husband got the Cali burrito (FRIES THAT COME WITH THE BURRITO WERE SOOOOOO TASTY!) we also ordered some hardshell tacos: beef & chicken (soooooooooo yummy!) and we shared an order of guacamole & chips (guacamole was FRESH & tasted sooooooooo good!) the whole atmosphere of the restaurant is AWESOME & the guy that helped us up front was friendly. we can’t wait to come back to try those DOLLAR SHOTS & THOSE MARGARITAS!!

We visited Mr. Taco Loco for an afternoon drink & snack a couple weekends ago & it was so nice. We sat on the patio, had some margaritas, & enjoyed the afternoon. The staff was super friendly & the food/drinks were great. I forget this place is here sometimes so we’re definitely gonna do better about coming back!

The food and service at their downtown location was incredible. We had carne asada, shrimp quesadilla, fajitas, a nacho appetizer, and tres leches for dessert and everything was great! We sat outside and their patio was great for people watching.

You order your food at the counter from a big menu painted on the wall; different menu specials every day and Wednesdays are $1 short drafts. My order of queso was fantastic! My entree was yummy even though the rice wasn’t hot and I enjoyed my $3.50 slice of tres leches cake. On Saturdays, mimosas are $1 and breakfast tacos are $1, but there’s only one kind of taco (egg, potato, and chorizo mixed together).

I was recommended this place for an authentic Mexican restaurant during my stay, it was so good I went back! The burritos are where it’s at, they are huge and quite filling. The white cheese sauce is epic for dipping the chips or burritos in, the cheese with chorizo is also quite exquisite. There is a hot red sauce to the side that has the absolute perfect equilibrium of heat and taste. I recommend the Cali burrito with steak and a side of cheese sauce and the spicy red sauce, bon appetit!
