At Sarto, we believe that poring over the details is always worth it; and that the joys of a meal go far beyond the food itself. In keeping with Italy’s authentic, old-world traditions, we’ve approached our menu in much the same way an Italian chef opening a restaurant here in America might ── with dishes composed of fresh, locally sourced ingredients, that honor our region in a modern way.

A real find for Italian fans. A little pricey. Nice staff. They have “Hugo” in the menu, not quite like it is Europe but good and refreshing, especially if you go there in the summer. Outdoor seating available in the summer, not sure how it is, since it is on a busy street. 1 point taken off they only have 1 restroom, and it’s location is right in the open.

Food and ambiance looked good. The reservation was for a standard table. We were sat at a high top. Not a big deal. Drinks and food came Very fast (likely too fast). While the food looked good it was nearly tasteless and mixed temperature. Parts were very overcooked, parts freshly cooked and yet others, like the pasta, were obviously prepared ahead of time and sticky clumps were lumped in at room temperature with the other items. It wasn’t even as good as microwaved leftovers from a less expensive restaurant. PS no toilet paper or paper towels in the Bathroom. This was a Saturday night.

Mind. Blown. These ladies are in the kitchen killing it! It’s the first time we’ve ever seen a kitchen full of women. I learned they locally source as much as possible & the taste is proof for sure. The quality & flavor of all the food is extraordinary. If you go, definitely try the cheese & salumi plate and the short rib osso bucco. Ask for a extra side of the grilled spring onions so you have more to go w/each bite of the polenta. Finish with the upside down pineapple dessert while sipping on a Lavender Espresso Martini or their espresso doppio. My better half felt their espresso was the best he’s had in the states, tasting very authentic to what you’d find in Italy where he lived for 2.5 yrs at one time. Although I’ve read reviews from others on different platforms commenting that they find Sarto’s menu to be limited, I’m thinking the reviewer doesn’t understand at all what goes into each of the chef’s offerings, which is a massively creative and beautifully presented dish. This takes time and I thoroughly appreciate their dedication to providing an ample menu of scrumptious selections that are all perfectly plated when presented rather than throwing out good food in lot quantities. Keep doing what you’re doing!!

My family and I came for dinner tonight and the service was wonderful. The staff’s wine recommendations were spot on. The ragu and burrata were especially delicious. For dessert, I could smell the brown butter cake as soon as it was set down on the table and it tasted absolutely incredible. We also had the limoncello cake and loved it- they make their limoncello in house and it came through in the dessert. The coffee was also great quality. Overall, we had a wonderful meal and can’t wait to come back!

Will definitely be back. The guest were either very dressed up or super casual, the vibe was great. Will be back again. Got apps, entrees, desert, shots and drinks. Loved everything.

10/10. Great atmosphere, wonderful service, and food that is to die for. The gigli al pesto e pollo was amazing as well as the carbonara fries. The bartender miranda was super friendly and attentive, this place is a must if visiting Providence, or for a reliable place after work for drinks and phenomenal food. The cocktail menu is one of a kind, I wish I could’ve tried them all.

The total experience was amazing. The service the food and wine selection was exemplary. Everything from the background music selection, drink selection to the menu options are perfectly aligned with the atmosphere.
